Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

I did an d2d a couple hours ago, and when I put a blu ray copy of Kill Bill Volume 1 in and add disc, it read it as blu ray source and asked if I wanted to add an HDX copy for the $2 price. I selected the HDX to add to my cart, but on my receipt it shows up as being from DVD and gave me the sd copy.

Don't convert to SD; Vudu will not upgrade SD titles to HDX. If you can't gather up 10 or more to convert, you can also try in-store D2D; but be prepared for clueless associates at the photo lab.

(Edit: The $1.50 or $3 will be a Vudu credit applied to your next Vudu purchase, including in-home D2D; may or may not apply to in-store D2D. If Vudu credit is unacceptable, try in-store D2D for $2.)
Are you saying you've had success doing this or is this just 'in theory'?

I've done that method many times, and Vudu is always happy to give me a credit. Sometimes you have to provide pictures of your Blu-rays, but that's not a big deal.

Any chance Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut will be available? I believe I've only seen it through Flixster before....

Interesting. Thanks for the confirmation as of the many D2D issues I still have, I have just a few that are read but still come up as the DVD. Want to add them to the 10+ orders instead of having to take them into the store because they can't be recognized correctly.

The New World bluray (the extended cut) comes up as HDX, but when I add, the order summary says DVD (SD)

Thanks. I have done all the ones I can at this point but have bought a few more DVDs that I am waiting for. Also hoping a few more will get fixed before the promotion ends.

Alright, found a few more that I wasn't able to locate in this thread so far:

"This disc is not currently eligible for conversion"

Hard Rain Blu Ray, (even though the list says it is)

"There was a problem while verifying this disc"

                              The Wolverine (Blu Ray)
How to Train Your Dragon (Blu Ray)

Discs came up as the standard version, instead of the Blu Ray:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
                              Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

(Might just do as a few others have done with these and get them this way and submit a ticket for credit, not sure just yet)
