Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

The following titles are mapping incorrectly:

Blu-ray "Angel Heart" reads as "Johnny Handsome"
Blu-ray "The Polar Express" reads as "The Corpse Bride"
DVD "Meet Joe Black" reads as "The Jackel"

I don't believe Angel Heart is currently eligible for D2D conversion or even available for purchase at VUDU.

Yes, you are correct. I just thought the mapping issue might be of interest to the developers.

The other two titles do appear to be available.

BTW, is this forum the best place to have Vudu address these issues, or will I have better luck contacting Customer Service directly? TIA

You're better off calling them. They "miss a lot of posts" here.

I own Avatar in regular Bluray and 3D Bluray. Neither one works with D2D.

You'll need to open a case for that. Vudu will ask for pictures of the case, front and back, and the disc.

Well I get the same excuse message from miramax with Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dusk Till Dawn & this. I guess they want you to donate your limbs for their precious catalogue.

Currently Open Season does not convert even though it is in the list of movies that can be converted.

Having trouble with the Blu Ray version of John Carpenter's the Thing. It recognized the disc but charged me 5 dollars for HDX instead of 2 dollars. Also John Carpenter's Blu Ray version of They Live wasn't recognized. I was prompted to enter what the disc was and of course it tells you VUDU will get back to you.

I am constantly with all movies getting this error, any suggestions?
There was a communication error while verifying this disc. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again.

But I am obviously connected to the internet.

Airplane 2 Blu Ray cannot be verified by Vudu Disc to Digital.

Also They Live Blu Ray cannot be verified by Vudu Disc to Digital.
