Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

            Hi Guys

I have the 4 blu ray collection of American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding & American Reunion.

American Pie was not recognized by Vudu Disc to Digital
American Pie 2 was recognized by Vudu Disc to Digital but not as a blu ray and it did not offer the unrated version
American Wedding was recognized as a blu ray but did not offer the unrated version of the film
American Reunion was recognized as a blu ray, offered the unrated version of the film as well as the theatrical version.

American Pie 2 was charging to convert from a dvd to hdx when the disc was blu ray.

Hope this helps you guys to figure this out.

            Thanks.

Rambo 2 Blu Ray, is recognized as Rambo (the fourth movie in the series)
Rambo 3 Blu Ray, is recognized as Rambo (the fourth movie in the series)

I notice the movies are available in bundle form but I already have the original Rambo & Rambo the 4th movie in my collection. Would like to be able to convert Rambo 2 & Rambo 3 into digital copies.

Rambo 2 and 3 are not UV enabled and as such are not D2D eligible either

I am finding several DVD's that are not being recognized. Everything searching in the list and in Vudu appears that they should be D2D eligible.

Air Force One ? DVD ? UPC 043396718890
? And Justice for All - DVD ? UPC 043396058194
                    Batman ? DVD ? UPC 085391200024
                    Babe ? DVD ? UPC 025192383229
Jumping Jack Flash ? DVD ? UPC 024543204343
Last of the Mohicans ? DVD - UPC 024543010890
                    Stripes ? DVD ? UPC 043396791695
Ice Age - The Meltdown ? DVD ? UPC 024543377719

Should these be working? or can they be fixed?

The Glass House-DVD (0433960622528)- Problem verifying disc. Funny thing is Flixster and CN read it as a burned DVD when it's a store bought DVD. Still has the security tape on the case.

What is "CN?" Is there a 3rd (or more) in home D2D option other that Vudu & Flixter?

CN = CinemaNow, and they were actually first out of the gate with home-based D2D.

What's the actual message and does it actually say it's a burned DVD? If I remember correctly, when Flixster and CN don't recognize a discs they display a message saying that the disc isn't recognized and that burned discs aren't supported. It seemed like a standardized, generic, message from my recollection and I never took it as it saying the software thought the discs were burned copies. However, it's been a while since I've tested those apps and I don't have access to my media at the moment.

Small correction. CN says burned disc. Flixster brings the movie up and says "Disc to Digital versions are only available for purchased discs. You may buy a digital copy at full price". and then offers it for $7.99 or 13.99.

I agree with rdodolak. To me the "burned disc" comments on CN and F means nothing different than VUDU2Go's "disc not recognized". Just a default response to a disc that they can't currently convert.
