Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

Please help. Having issues converting the following:

Rango (Blu-ray or DVD) error occurs when trying to purchase HD version
Puss in Boots (Blu-ray and DVD) disc not recognized, but title available
Where The Wild Things Are 2009 (Blu-ray or DVD) disc not recognized, but title available
Open Season (DVD) disc not recognized, but title available

I, ultimately, would like to get the HD versions of all.

    Thank you,

    Garrett

A lot of eligible discs say that now. Not sure why but it seems more and more discs end up with that message as time passes.

I will say I did a D2D conversion of that title through Vudu's D2D software a while back. I have no idea why it would just stop working though.

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

Today have had NUMEROUS issues with blu ray discs not being recognized, having trouble reading, etc., including:

          Maze Runner
          Django Unchained
          Grand Budapest Hotel
          A Most Wanted Man
          Predestination
          Wild
          Wild Card
          Jack Ryan
          Jessabelle
          John Wick (AHHH!!!)
          You're Next
How to Train Your Dragon 2
          Hunger Games Catching Fire

And there may have been more... Is there some sort of block on these NEWER titles that don't allow them to be converted, even though most if not all of these titles show up on the list for eligible titles????

I hesitate going to Walmart with these due to the nightmare experiences of others AND the inability to get them for $1! I would appreciate some sort of response or explanation please!

Sorry if my last message is somewhere else because I don't see it here. ..

I am having almost zero success with converting new blu Ray movies to digital as most say that there is a problem recognizing the disc. Is this a common problem? Is there something I'm missing? Any and all help is appreciated!

Recent releases typically don't (or never) work in the program and need to be brought in to Walmart.

That is a common problem and even older releases which use to work are now starting to come up with that error.

                  54 (DVD)
                  Karate Kid Part 3 (DVD)

                  Neither are recognized.

That would be awesome if the Walmart software worked

                      My recent issues:

                      1. Norbit Blu-ray recognized as DVD so I got charged $5 instead of $2.

                      2. System did not recognize eligible title "The Last Dragon" on DVD.

Please add any movies that you're unable to convert with the In-Home D2D program to this thread. If the movie has been listed by someone else, please do not list it again. In order for us to see the mapping issue, you will have had to of tried the movie and received the error message previously.

                        Please list the following:

-Movie that you entered into your disc drive.
-Movie that VUDU To Go Recognized instead.
*If the disc is unreadable, we may not be able to update it.

A forum moderator may reach out to you if you're forum email address does not match your VUDU email address.
I have about 60-70 movies that Vudu at home has failed to convert, but over 500 that converted properly.

Is it possible for VUDU to post an updated list of all the movies they are aware of problems with so I do not have to re-insert or search for all 70 movies in this thread? Thanks.

There needs to just be a search method within v2g so that you can find out if a movie is even supposed to work before you waste time inserting disks and waiting. Especially since no new movies even work.

Wish they would fix the walmart stores it was a lot easier to just make a list of known d2d pop down to walmart ... done

the ONLY thing you can do is use THIS URL to check if any of the movies are eligible to even USE D2D (VTG)

                            https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...0E&output=html

That link doesn't help with v2g application only going to walmart store.

Well, yes, IMO it does help with in-home D2D, because it allows you to cull discs that aren't eligible without having to go through the hassle of putting them in the drive and waiting, waiting, waiting to find they're not eligible. But maybe you prefer that?
