Will Iron Man, IM2, Thor, Captain America, and Avengers come to d2d?

Will these movies be available for d2d soon?

The short answer is no. Disney owns those titles, and is not a UV supporter.

I wish! The Marvel Movies, Star Wars and the Pixar films are pretty much my most wanted titles at this point and all are owned by Disney! Even if they ever fully join the UV club, I would be surprised if they let their precious animated classics be included in D2D, but hopefully someday soon all the other stuff will be.

I don't see it happening any time soon either. It is a shame too because I think that one of the things that is really holding UltraViolet back is that all the studios are not adopting UV and I think that in order for people to embrace UV they must be able to find the movies they are looking for. Which mean that if UV doesn't include the top 500 movies of all time then why bother. Lack of television content is also hold UV back.

Most of the top 500 movies are UV titles, but there are many that are not:

        Titanic
        Star Wars
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
        Marvel's The Avengers
        Raiders Of The Lost Ark
        Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
        The Lion King
Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of the Black Pearl
        Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
        Toy Story 3
        Iron Man 3
        Finding Nemo
        Star Wars: Episode III
        Iron Man
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
        Iron Man 2
        Return of the Jedi
        The Silence of the Lambs
        The Usual Suspects
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
        Up
        The Sixth Sense
        Casino Royale (2006)
        Monsters University
        Ratatouille
        The Incredibles
        Rocky
        Cars
        Mrs. Doubtfire
        Raging Bull (1980)
        West Side Story
        My Fair Lady (1964)
        Seven Samurai
        12 Angry Men
        Aladdin
        Miracle
        Singing In The Rain
        My Fair Lady
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
        Dances With Wolves
        The Deer Hunter
        The Princess Bride
        Platoon
        Good Will Hunting
        Men In Black 3
        Alice In Wonderland (2010)

I'm really glad I used d2d from the beginning when Thor, captain America and the iron man movies were d2d. I haven't checked but I think while they show up in my uv account vudu is the only place I can view them.

I also have Dances With Wolves in there from a uk code. I think it only shows in flixster though.

Pretty sure MIB 3 is UV, may not be on D2D.

It is. the DVD and Blu Ray come with UV codes. I think it's also purchasable through Sony and Vudu.

Terminator 2 is indeed UV, just not D2D. It is important to note, however, this only applies to the theatrical version, and not the director's cut.

At the moment, I have accepted that Disney won't be going UV for some time, if ever, and MGM probably won't support UV until they can figure out how to stop going into bankruptcy every few years.

I just looked at the list of 200 highest grossing films, and 80 are not UV. That's means only 60% are. I think UV should be closer to 80 or 90% available before it starts to gain mass acceptance.

So many of the ones that aren't UV are Disney or Disney related films that it will be a long time before that changes I fear. The others are MGM which who knows what will happen with those
