Rambo Finally added to Disc to Digital!!

Also noticed Terminator 2 and Total Recall (1990) were added as well. Good news for action movie fans. Hopefully this means Rambo 2 and 3 will be added so I can complete my digital collection of Rambo movies. The first Terminator would be nice as well. What does it mean that some of these movies were finally added?

I've noticed that Lionsgate has slowly but surely been updating it's offerings of the more high-profile titles to UV. Thus far, they've been the slowest in getting back-catalog titles available, but I don't blame them. Movie licensing is a big giant mess of a business.

As far as the original Terminator, don't hold your breath. Looks like MGM holds the rights to that one, and the studio has yet to announce any plans for UV support. I'd venture to guess that most members wishlists are littered with MGM and/or Disney titles that they are waiting to at least go UV, if not D2D.

I hope MGM caves at some point. I'm not holding my breath for Disney. They will hold out as long as they can I am sure. But sooner or later all the studies will have to adopt UV. Just a matter of time now.

Is anybody having problems D2Ding these titles?

I tried to do Total Recall and First Blood tonight, and neither worked. If it's worked for anyone else, I'll probably run through the usual PC triage...or maybe I'll just drive to WalMart.\

I have done both of those titles from DVD and they were properly added to my cart.

The First Blood [Blu-ray] (0-12236-19157-5) worked fine for me.

Which version exactly? Success/failure depends on specific discs...

My Total Recall (Blu-ray, SteelBook, 012236125037) actually came with a UV code, but I did check and it does detect correctly. It appears to be the same disc as the Mind Bending edition, but that doesn't mean much.

Mine are older: no code. Very happy about D2D for these titles. Total Recall Blu-ray, 012236191537 (If that number is the UPC code). So that might be it.

There's enough weirdness with my current HTPC setup that I might try some things there. Using a portable drive connected via USB instead of SATA, and logging in through remote desktop.

                  Thanks for the answers.

                    Success!

                    (1) Running Vudu To Go as administrator (Windows 7 host PC), and (2) re-launching the program for each title did the trick. Again, I was using a USB Blu-ray drive, and logging in through remote desktop, so hopefully most folks have no issues whatsoever. Both Total Recall and Rambo: First Blood now added.

                    Very happy.

First Blood, Part II apparently isn't D2D eligible yet. Eh, no big deal. I like the first one much better.

Re: Rambo Finally added to Disc to Digital!!

Weirdly the new Rambo 2008 movie (Blu ray) that has been d2d for a while gives you the option to select any of the rambo movies. Only 2 are eligible though (Rambo-new 2008 one and First Blood). Vudu is very confusing on the Rambo movies. They are all available on vudu (not d2d) twice. One for rent under Paramount and one to buy under Lionsgate.
