    Despicable Me 2 (Extended) Walmart

Originally Universal gave us the standard of Fast & Furious 6, I'm hoping they will consider doing the same for Despicable Me 2 by providing the Walmart preorder with the Extended Edition. Any chance?

I looked at the upcoming versions, but who is selling the extended cut on Blu-ray? Will EC be available for sale on disc? I couldn't determine?

May be Smoke and Mirrors! I read on another forum that the extended time is for the 3 Mini Movies that run after the regular feature. So it's really not a extended edition of the movie.

1 minute more? Is that all?

            Fast & Furious 6 - 130 minutes
            Fast & Furious 6 - 131 minutes (extended)

Any one wanting to know and update on this extended ver. It accidentally got bought on my account LOL and all the stuff at the end of the movie is just some behind the scenes, and talking about the making of the movie and characters.

                *Edit*
There is a mini movie on there called:
                Panic in the Mailroom

A little clip talking about the gadgets.

I thought about buying this, but now I'm glad I didn't. If I had, I'd be very disappointed and ask for a refund.

I hear that the X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Extended) is similar. It's the regular theatrical version with a couple bonus features tacked on after the credits.

I think this is very deceptive and makes me pause before buying any "Extended" movies in the future. Vudu should make it clear that these are not actual extended versions and just the regular movie with added bonus features.

If they are going to put all that extra crap in there they need to split it out of the movie and make them individual, click-able items to watch under the main movie. Like all the extras that come with a pre-order and such.
For one reason if you just want to watch all the extras you have to go all the way to the end of the movie and just watch them continuously.

Definitely. An extended version or cut of a movie is absolutely NOT the same as extras or special features. I like both, but I would not pay for extras or behind-the-scenes for any movie I can think of, but I would for the Director's Cut of some movies. (Maybe Pixar shorts would be worth it.) But more importantly, if I paid for one thing and got another, I'd demand a refund, even if I liked what I got, unless I was also already planning on buying what I had actually received.

I've read on another forum that they're doing this again with KickAss 2 (Extended). It's just the theatrical version with some deleted scenes tacked on after the credits.
