The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

    I know of no others worth watching. For a quick snoozing, there is the congressional video channel. Put any man alive to sleep in the space of three minutes. Max!
    I can't watch anything congressional, I would destroy my TV.

      Forget about the TV, how about your poor brain cells, they surely would be decimated by anything Congressional these days

      Not for not, that integrated system in Roku does recognize all of my UV titles, however appears to only have the ability/rights/correct ALID #'s, to play back only 50 to 60% of them. So, out of over 1,100 titles the Roku integrated system does not support the content on a huge number of titles in my library at UV.

      Whereas VUDU recognizes all of them & is able (has the rights) to play back every last one of them - Go VUDU

        The roku 3 remote doesn't have the discrete channels, but after 5.2 upgrade the roku 3 and all other rokus respond to the new IR channel keys. And the roku 3 will respond to the WIFI remote with the new channels as well. Including VUDU command.

          No he is right. Displaying congressional content causes an electrochemical reaction, raising the emotion of anger in the viewers beyond their ability to control and then objects get subsequently thrown at the TV.

          In my case, it causes a narcoleptic reaction and my tv has been able to survive as a result.

            Disclaimer - I use Vudu almost daily. Vudu is my sole UV/Rental provider that is not subscription based.
            IMHO, if Roku sells 20 million this holiday season and it translates into seven million households looking to do D2D so they can have remote access through their Roku to their existing DVD / Bluray collection, I doubt the WB web site will see much of the traffic.

            I feel confident in suggesting this would be all but an exclusive Vudu managed activity for these new Roku users.

              I have two Roku's, a XDS and a 3. I plan on getting another 3 to replace the XDS. I have to say that I love my Roku. Yes there are 100's (or 1,000) channels, but most of them are ones that I would never use. It's similar to the App Store or Google Play Store saying they have XX amount of apps.

              Our current installed channel list is: Vudu, Amazon Instant, Netflix, Hulu Plus, MLB TV, PBS, PBS Kids, Smithsonian, FoxNow, Pandora, IHeart Radio, USB Player, Weather, AOL HD, CNBC, Huff Post Live, Wall Street Journal Live, NBC News, VEVO, Watch ESPN, Watch Disney.

              I realize that other devices can stream some of these channels, but to me, they do not do it nearly as well as the Roku. We don't watch/use all of these channels on a regular basis, and there have been many that I have installed, played with, and then removed.

              Other devices we have used that we thought did not function as well as the Roku as far as ease and speed: xBox 360, PS3, blu ray player

                The PBS and PBS Kids are a couple that we have also. I with they would add a live feed. The FoxNow, ESPN, and Disney (along with Epix) all require you to subscribe to certain cable or satellite services.

                We also watch Crackle and Spirit Clips a lot. These are a good channels. Full Moon Streaming was recently added and it's good if you enjoy those old Full Moon movies.

                We have been wondering how difficult it would be to load up all our television shows and Disney movies on a server and to create a private Roku channel that would allow us to stream our private movies that way. My husband just hasn't had the time to figure it all out, but he thinks this might work.

                  PLEX. Works as advertised, but a bit of a time black hole to maintain well. You will also need a few TB of HDD storage coupled with prayer that you do not have to endure a HDD crash where months upon months of work will cease to exist in the space of a nano second.

                  BTW, the PBS content is pretty good. I agree. They have a program called "Backstage Pass" that I have been enjoying. There is a band called Howling Diablos who have a good live blues concert . Several others worthwhile too.

                    I understand why they did not use vudu as their integrated service. It's because it's owned by wal-mart, and they don't want top **** off the other retailers by favoring one over the others. That would probably cause some retailers with their own services to stop carrying the roku. So they went with a service not owned by a retailer at all. It was smart.
