    Has anyone ever been contacted "as soon as the verification is complete."??

    When you submit a correction/identification to disc in the Vudu-to-Go disc-to-digital you get the message below. As I've submitted corrections since the program launched and I've never been notified when/if any of the titles were fixed (and they certainly weren't added to my purchase queue).

    Just curious if anyone has ever been "contacted" as I'm not entirely convinced these submissions go anywhere or there is anyone actually looking to connect with the customer on the correction.

    We are in the process of manually verifying your disc. We will contact you as soon as the verification is complete.
    For instant conversion you may take this disc to your nearest Walmart store.

    Software is STILL "Beta" though...

      Nope. Closest I've seen is when one of the mods post in the error thread. The only manually verify disc that I know of that's been fixed is The Croods.

          Ha, good one. How about, how many people had their titles fixed from the current 32 page errors thread OR the previous 121 page error thread?

          To be fair, my take is most of this is their vendor, so until they force their vendor (Gracenote) to make corrections (or change vendors), this ain't changing.

            I was one of the lucky ones who had a few fixed I did manage to get my post on page 1 though.

                Good to know it isn't just me but bad to know it isn't anyone. They really should change that notification to thank them but recommend the person take the title to Walmart (and not get the 10+title discount) if they want it converted instead of waiting for a never-coming notification that the title issue has been corrected.

                It is really an unnecessary, bad experience for customers that could be fixed by actually correcting whatever the gap in execution is or simply changing the language to correct expectations.

                  Actually, the software left Beta months ago. That date coincides with when Vudu started offering the 50% off ten or more D2D movies in one transaction.

                  And I haven't been contacted either.

                    Wrong. It's still in Beta. It just went from a poorly guarded private beta to a more advertised public beta. The original beta was technically open to people who got the email, but they said they were not surprised it leaked out there. Then it went to public beta which it is still currently in. It even says it on the d2d page. Top left corner. BETA

                    Don't feel too bad though. Lots of people make that mistake and think it's out of beta because they had the earlier private beta software either through the email or through a link elsewhere so they thought the 50% off announcement was an end to the Beta when really it was just announcing the public beta.
