Flixster just refreshed again. Latest version is now 2.0.1.267 (v.2.0.1-6-g1e4618c). The release notes mentioned something about D2D enhancements.

After clearing and redownloading the software, I tested Blu-ray, it was reading them but coming back with that version wasn't available at this time. I didn't know what that meant, was it the title, or the type of disc? Until it came to Avatar, it would allow my to purchase sd or hd versions. I wasn't ready to fork over $5 for that one.

    +1

Mine automatically updated but you can redownload and reinstall to get the latest version. You may have to uninstall the existing version before Flixster will allow you to redownload the software though.

The latest PC version is 2.0.0.233 (v2.0.0-129-g02c5004)

Guess I'm not trying the right Blu-Ray, have never got lucky with one.

But really don't feel like paying $5 to upgrade my Blu-Ray yet though. I'll wait.

I just downloaded it a few days ago. However, of the 4 that I tried, only 1 worked. So it's entirely possible that the titles you're using aren't working.

I have. I didn't even have to update or redownload. It just started working for me.

Could be, and maybe they will lower the price at the time of the announcement.

I did a few of my blu rays yesterday that Vudu cant do, and their system worked great. I did an e-mail asking why they cant do the half price deal like Vudu does. No answer yet.

It's obviously nowhere near as good a deal as VUDU's. But if the VUDU D2D software can't read a bunch of Blu-ray discs(and DVDs for that matter) and Wal-Mart's Photocenter staff is totally unreliable, at least now we have an alternative.
