I put in the Ultraviolet code and movie is not appearing?

So i created a Flixster, Ultraviolet, and Vudu account within the last hour. Everything was going smoothly until i tried linking my Vudu account to my Ultraviolet account.

I will go step by step what happened and maybe one of you can please help me. I hope this isn't too confusing.

I fist bought the movie The Hobbit on DVD and it came with a UV code so that is when i created my account on Flixster and got set up and put in my code. (I got a confirmation email from Flixster about my Flixster account. at this point I didn't know I was simultaneously creating an Ultraviolet account, but i never got an email from Ultraviolet) Then the movie was there and I was ready to watch.

I then created a Vudu account, it said I can pick out 5 movies I can have in my library (sweet!) I was then wondering why those 5 movies were not showing up in my Flixster or Ultraviolet accounts. It said i had to create an Ultraviolet account, so I did. (I didn't know I already had one from signing up to Flixster)

I created the account on Ultraviolet using the same e-mail I used for signing up for all of these accounts(I then got an e-mail of confirmation about my new account on Ultraviolet). Now my 5 movies from Vudu and Ultraviolet were linked.

I was wondering why they still were not on my Flixster account. thinking it was probably just a system glitch I signed out of Ultraviolet and Vudu and Pressed unlink Ultraviolet account on Flixster.

I logged out of Flixster and logged back in and pressed link Ultraviolet account. I did so and only the 5 free movies Vudu gave me are showing up and The Hobbit is Gone! I tried to put the code in again and it doesn't work! I just simply don't know what to do. I don't know what Ultraviolet account The Hobbit is under because I've only ever used my main e-mail to sign up. And I've tried logging into Flixster without linking Ultraviolet and it doesn't work.

    Someone please help me!

Re: I put in the Ultraviolet code and movie is not appearing?

Anyone else having problems with their list on uvvu.com where many of my recent movies are appearing several times on the list? It used to be that only those redeemed in SD and then later as HD would appear making it appear twice. Now since around the beginning of November, the recently added movies are appearing around 8 - 10 times on the list with the same information on all of them.

Yes, I am! Just tried looking up something in my UV locker and it's an unmitigated disaster... a bunch of my recent D2D conversions appear repeatedly over and over again and I can't see the entire list. What a mess!

Yes. I've completely given up on uvvu's website. Can't search and it shows movies up to 20 times! I just check my library at another service to make sure it imported correctly.

My UV account has multiple listing for some titles as well. However some don't appear at all, they do show on the UV retailers sites (Vudu, Flixster, etc.). UV support has been unhelpful.

This has been my experience from UV support as well. They did say they were aware of it but who knows how long it could take to correct?

Let's not completely hijack dbaked's thread.

You wound up with two different UV "lockers". One has The Hobbit and the other has your 5 freebies. You might try Flixster support first and see if they can transfer the Hobbit over. You'd probably need to contact UV support to merge the two accounts, but they're not as motivated to help end consumers.

Or, just start over with Vudu if you have a 2nd email account you can use, link it to your Flixster-created UV account (find out exactly what those credentials are from Flixster) and add your 5 movies back.

If the thread starter used the same email address for both UV accounts, just select forgot my Username or password on the UVVU site. They will email a password reset option for both accounts. After reset then logging in to one account you merge the other into it after selecting account settings ---> Merge two accounts, and entering the username and password to the second account.
