Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their VUDU service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers
4. Spiteful or inflammatory comments about other users or their comments
5. Comments that may potentially violate the DMCA or any other applicable laws
6. Comments that discuss ways to manipulate Vudu products/services, including, but not limited to, reverse engineering, video extraction, and file conversion.

Additionally, please keep in mind that although Vudu retains the right to monitor, edit, and/or remove posts within Vudu Forums, it does not necessarily review every comment. Accordingly, specific questions about Vudu products and services should be directed to Vudu customer service representatives.

Terms of Use - User Comments, Feedback, Reviews, Submissions

For all reviews, comments, feedback, postcards, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to Vudu, on or through this Site, by e-mail or telephone, or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection you use of this Site (collectively, the "Comments") you grant Vudu a royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable right and license to use the Comments however Vudu desires, including, without limitation, to copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and /or distribute such Comments and/or incorporate such Comments into any form, medium or technology throughout the world.

    Even though this may get another thread locked or get me suspended/banned, I'd like to offer up what Sony just told me in a response to a trouble ticket I opened with them concerning S.4 E.13 of Breaking Bad not appearing in Vudu (also, S.4 E.9 not appearing in Flixster):

    We have already added all episodes and seasons to your collection in the efforts that this would fix the problem. The information we have is we do not have the ability to fix these. You would need to contact VUDU and Flixster for further assistance because their sites are the ones not granting you access to all episodes. You can verify this by checking your Sony and UV accounts to see that all episodes are available.
    So to their point I can see that I own all episodes at ultraviolet.sonypictures.com and I'm still waiting for uvvu.com to let me navigate to the Episodes list

    And to all that may post in this thread if it stays open, mind your manners!

    Because of this issues I have had with Weeds and Breaking Bad it has turned me off from TV series. If I need to contact customer service over one movie or watch one movie on another service no big deal. But to have episodes here and there and a series with missing episodes is to much to track down to watch.

    Sony gave me the same response and with the way the other thread ended, I'll assume Vudu considers the matter resolved.

        Dece will implement a universal UV redemption site later this year. Hopefully this will help with this issue.

          Anyone else have an extended version of episode 13 from season 4 added to their account? I just noticed it today. It's under movies and not tv shows. It says extended but its the same time as the regular version which is 51 minutes. Also if you type in and search for breaking bad it does not come up.

              Would have love to seen the episode under the TV Section with the other episodes. When I look up Breaking Bad, season 4 it shows I still don't own it and it is up to me and my family to remember it is buried in the movies list somewhere with no way to search for it.
              Why is it when I use Vudu, I feel like they have something really good in technology going on. But when there's a problem, the solution is a half measure.

                We're having our content team take a look to see if anything else can be done. We'll keep you posted.

                  My OCD kicked in a while back and I bought the episode then. Hopefully this new extended version can be moved to the series collection. Thanks Vudu or Sony for working on a fix.

                    the missing episode showed up in my account 10 minutes ago. EVERYONE check their missing episode

                        when you click on my tv look at the seasons. You'll have two seasons 4 - one that has the missing episode and a new one that has only episode 13. I know weird but it did show up that way.

                          I wish that helped me, but I had episode 13 all along. It's episode 9 that is missing for me, in VUDU.

                            sorry to hear you are missing 9. But it does mean they are doing "something" if 13 appeared seemed to be the one most were missing.
