Post your D2D incorrect ALID experiences!

I recently did a Walmart Disc to Digital conversion of THE FLY (1958) Blu-ray since the home software wouldn't recognize the disc and the title correctly appears in my VUDU account.

However, I soon discovered that the title incorrectly appears as the 1986 David Cronenberg remake (which I also already own) on CinemaNow, Flixster and Target Ticket. VUDU support was quick to throw me to the UVVU.com wolves, who fired back immediately that the problem is VUDU's alone. Thing is, my D2D conversion shows up correctly in my UV locker, so VUDU appears to be off the hook.

This isn't the first time I've had a situation like this, so I thought it might be helpful to start a specific thread to document incorrect ALID issues so other D2D users don't have any unwelcome surprises. Anyone else wind up getting their "flies" mixed up? (So to speak...)

I've only had one so far. The Girl Next Door (2004) shows up fine in my UVVU account and other services but it shows up as the 1953 movie of the same name in Vudu. Very different movies

That's strange... that film shows up properly for me, at least on Flixster. Pretty sure I used VUDU for the D2D...

The Descent (Unrated) redeemed via D2D shows up in my locker as the theatrical and imports everywhere that way. VUDU and uvvu.com were both entirely unhelpful. After getting a bunch of different answers, and some finger pointing, I opened a third ticket and was told it was Lionsgate's fault. But they have no CS so there won't be any fix I guess.

The buck passing with UV customer service is atrocious. I very rarely have an issue that isn't immediately blamed on another service, and even more rarely have them blame it right back on the other service. One of Ultraviolet's chief issues is the horrible fragmentation of titles and services.

Converted Planet of Apes (walhberg version) via d2d vudu. Shows up fine in vudu & my uv acoount. flickster & cinema now have the ORIGINAL planet of apes showing in my accounts. Assume this is an ALID issue on their part not VUDUs. I like both versions so never started a ticket to straighten it out. Had an ALID is with Mortal Combat as well but flickster fixed it for me quickly with a ticket. No ALID issues with vudu otherwise.

I used another service since vudu could not read my disc. It appears correctly everywhere but vudu.
