Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     AS was said, the 50% off price was the reason I converted all of my 500 discs that the service recognized. I would not have done many if any DVD and a lot fewer of my Blu-rays. It isn't that it is 50% necessarily but rather the price of 2.50 was motivational to me where the $5 price was not, especially as many discs I have on DVD are often available on Blu-ray for ~$5.
    I am going to be more than a little miffed (regardless of the justification) if the discount goes away while none of the disc recognition error on (UV eligible) titles I submitted since the beta started have been corrected. It will certainly take away some of the goodwill I feel and advocating I've done for Vudu with F&F.

      Yes, I will definitely miss the 50% when it ends. I've converted all my blu-rays available because of this. I was hoping they would fix the remaining issues before lifting the 50%. If they decide not to extend it and the issues are not fixed by then. I will use other D2D options since I know my movies will convert there. It would be wise to extend it especially while they are still in the Beta phase.

          Very cool. Thanks for the update. I'll go ahead with what I have stockpiled and then start the process again next month!

          More importantly, I just got a couple of family members into this and I was concerned that the end of the discount would take the wind out of their sails.

            Yes, this is great news! I too have been converting since last summer (2013), and I have been adding to my digital collection from Blu-rays and DVD's. And sometimes they get recognized wrong, but i always select which disc it's supposed to be, and then move onto the next.

            I am very happy to hear of this extension, as it will give us more time

              Excellent news! Besides my own conversions over the last year, I have several family members and friends that are interested but not sure they would jump in based on the end-of-January expiration.

                    Of course, as helpful as Dan has been, if it's late on 1/31 and the date hasn't changed on that page, I might just check out my 10-11 movies, just in case. After all, if the deadline is extended, I'm sure I can find 10 more by the next deadline.

                                Great to hear! Though (not to minimize the continued 50% off discount as we'd love to see it extended forever) the extended date doesn't do anything to address the black hole of information around what is being done regarding disc-to-digital issues that are reported or when previously-unavailable-as-UV titles that we checked are added. Right now it is "Keep trying and maybe it will work at some point in the future and maybe not, and keep submitting error reports that maybe we will do something with maybe not. Either way we won't give you any easy way to find out".

                                For those of us that have leveraged the disc-to-digital program the date extension may do nothing, may do everything but is somewhat irrelevant w/o some sort of insight into what is or isn't happening with the discs we have submitted issues on. Even a simple, regularly updated 'fixed' list would be a major step forward in customer communication. Would also love to see a 'recently added' for older titles (ones that didn't ship with UV codes) but at least addressing fixes to the d2d program would be huge.
