For those of us that have leveraged the disc-to-digital program the data extension may do nothing, may do everything but is somewhat irrelevant w/o so sort of insight into what is or isn't happening with the discs we have submitted issues on. Even a simple, regularly updated 'fixed' list would be a major step forward in customer communication. Would also love to see a 'recently added' for older titles (ones that didn't ship with UV codes) but at least addressing fixes to the d2d program would be huge.

This is why I gave up last July and went into Walmart for those that were not recognized or that were recognized incorrectly. It was not worth the $1.00 per title (BD) to me to go through this aggravation when I didn't believe it would be correctly any time soon. I have seen very few titles on these forums that have been corrected.

Yes, and Dan hinted at that, too, but I'll rely on it if and when they make it public.

Question, does anyone know if Walmart honors that 50% off of 10 conversions if I bring it in myself or would they stick to the standard costs. I had no idea the 50% off was a limited time thing... thought it was just a normal price cut until this thread and now I want to make sure I convert at least all of my Blu-ray's (which is only 20 or so)...I have about 150 DVDs though which I can do at home.

                Thanks!
No Walmart does not honor the 50% off. I took several into Walmart because I am still having trouble with error message. I was disappointed and it was quite a hassle to have them done in the store and the lady at the counter wasn't real happy with dealing with the conversion. unless I can figure out how to get results at home I doubt If I will take anymore into the store.

Any word on when the end date on the promotion will be changed to June? The website still shows January 31, 2014. Perhaps it's already in effect but just hasn't been update?

Just checked Twitter and Facebook and no mention of an extension either, so nothing official yet that I can find.

Seriously people. See post #44. His word is gold in my book. He's pretty much one of THE go to Vudu reps in the forum. If he says it's extended, it's extended.

The price discount sure will be missed but not so much the beta. I look forward to having titles corrected in a timely manner now that the beta ends today. It was great knowing you D2D beta unfortuntely all things must come to an end.

Hopefully Vudu will fix the issues of so many movies not being recognized using in house D2D. It sucks I have to pay 5.00 per movie in store because the at home says "disc has trouble being validated" or worse "disc not recognized" then when it asks for the title it says, "once we have verification, we will email you". I have yet to receive one email on the hundred or so movies not recognized. Why is it Lethal Weapon or Silver Linings Playbook can't be recognized but sure come up in store at full price. My nephew just had to go to Wal Mart to add 30 movies that in home D2D wouldn't recognize and had to pay double. C'mon Vudu let's get this glitch fixed.

I did +95% of my D2D transactions in the store. I did so for two reasons:
                            1. I do not own a computer with a BRD
                            2. I knew it would always work

Also, my D2D cycle was very slow. I am not a rich man and I only paid cash. It took me about 18 months to exhaust my physical collection. I really looked forward to my trips into the store to complete another D2D transaction. I would not of enjoyed it as much had I just been clicking a mouse in isolation.

The promotion end date has not been updated as of this moment, but the VuduToGo cart still offers the 50% discount.

Looks like Vudu just needs a content manager to keep their site up to date.

Yes, I've done web sites and applications for close to 20 years now and all it takes is 2 seconds to change the date so I don't know why they haven't done that yet?
