Well crap. Maybe they are re releasing when Thor Dark World comes out. Really strange they are listed as DC+.

Re: Avengers Marvel titles coming to UV or Digital Copy+!?!?!?!?!

Just sent 3 different support tickets to Paramount (Thor, Captain American and Iron Man 2) requesting new codes. Since it's Friday, I'm not expecting a reply until at least the beginning of the next week. If they give me new codes, I'll let you know if I have any luck.

The odd thing is, the replies I have seen people get from Disney talking about Paramount handling the codes. Just seems odd to me that Disney would have someone else handling these codes. I don't think these will be re-releases when Thor 2 comes out, because why wouldn't they just say that? I'm sure they'd want people to buy (or in some cases re-buy) the product to get the code. That and it's clearly already on their list of movies released with DC+ codes. If these codes are from Paramount, you'd think they would've had to merge all the codes in their database somehow. I'd be surprised if ANYONE has been able to redeem a code for these 3 movies.

I redeemed the vudu code for Captain America just fine.

Did you get it from a Blu Ray or buy the code online (I understand if you don't want to answer but if you did buy the blu ray, where from?). I read that the people selling codes are exploiting some kind of glitch that lets them change other Disney codes like Lone Ranger to the Marvel movies.

Also interested to know where you got the bluray if it came from there. I found some places online selling VUDU codes for these movies, but was skeptical.

Keep in mind, these codes are not for resale. If you run into a problem with the code, we won't be able to help. We may require a proof of purchase and/or a picture of the promotion insert.

Quick clarification, DanielH. Are you saying if we can provide a photo of the insert, or other proof of purchase, that VUDU may be able to issue us a code? I would much rather go through VUDU support for this if I can. Much faster and much more helpful. If this isn't something that can be done by VUDU that's ok, but if it is, then that would be most helpful to know.

It's a bit confusing then. Vudu has 3 redeem pages for IM 2, Thor, and Captain America. You are saying that codes do not exist for these films?

No, i'm saying that we don't have replacement codes available from the studio.

I wouldn't risk buying them. Especially since they are glitch based.

Thanks for clearing that up DanielH. I guess we just need to keep doing what we're doing already to find/get these codes.

Got new codes from Paramount for Iron Man 2 and Captain America. Neither worked on VUDU or Digital Copy Plus. I give up until the Thor 2 release, maybe that will shed some light on this whole thing. All the mystery is very frustrating.

Got a very interesting response from Disney regarding my Iron Man 2 code. They basically said there has been no Digital Copy Plus release of Iron Man 2 AND none are scheduled. They also pointed me back to Paramount. Well if there has been no release, why is it on their release sheet on their website? I did not respond, because I didn't feel like arguing with them would garner any results. Still this is very frustrating. It's on VUDU, it's on DC+, and yet nobody seems to know where to get these codes from.

Just spoke with them, the three Marvel titles getting a Disney release "soon." Some retailers have sold the newer Disney issued package per the rep I spoke with but the national release is soon.
