That's cool. I wonder why they are ignoring the original IM, then.

Reviving this thread - does anybody know what types of codes come with older (IM 1 & 2, Thor, Cap 1, Avengers) Marvel Bluray titles these days? That is, if I buy a Bluray from Amazon or wherever, will it come with a DMA code that will then transfer to my Vudu and iTunes accounts (both are linked)?
I'm leary of buying any Blurays that only have SD digital copies on a disc, esp. for collections that cost upwards of $35.

If you have the Blu-ray of Thor or Captain America: The First Avenger that came with an iTunes code, you can redeem the code via iTunes and it will appear in HDX at Vudu. I did this last week.

Will it work even after you already redeemed it years ago because they didn't come through after the DMA change on Vudu a couple of months ago for me?

It doesn't matter when they were redeemed, if they are in your iTunes account and DMA, they should go over to Vudu. With these titles that were originally paramount, they sometimes get stuck in iTunes and not going to DMA or in DMA and not going to Vudu. An unlink and relink usually pushes the through. Also try signing out and signing back in to the services. If they still won't go through call or contact DMA.

The codes are the same as they always were iTunes only. All DMA code redemptions get upgraded to HD, so you don't have to worry about SD quality.

There is no digital copy code for Iron Man 1, you have to buy that from Vudu or iTunes.

Thor 1, Captain America 1, and Iron Man 2 do not have a DMR/DMA code, they have an iTunes code. I don't remember if Avengers has a DMA redemption or just iTunes, but I think just Itunes.

Also, not all versions of these movies come with digital copies, so if that is what you want make sure before you buy.

Yes, this is what happened with me a few days ago. In my case, I had to unlink and relink my DMA account from Vudu and the titles showed up.
