5 trips to Walmart/ still nothing!

So I have a DVD drive in my Mac which makes Disc to Digital from home super easy...if the disc I'm converting is a DVD. I don't have a blu-ray drive.

So this weekend (Friday) I took 10 Blu-Rays into Wal Mart to be converted. Should be simple, I thought. Five trips later, and these discs are still not converted. My local Walmart got an error saying they could not convert them, and still haven't straightened it out days later.

    Seriously. Five trips.

This stinks. I caLLED Vudu and they said that it's a Walmart issue and that Walmart needs to straighten in out. Walmart says they are waiting for a call from Vudu saying that the error was fixed.

I'm having my engineers take a look and see if it's something we can correct for you. Will let you know what they say.

See other threads here or here. I think it is a system issue, not just an issue for any one user here.

        Same problem here.

I am disappointed with the Walmart/Vudu ?Disk to Digital? program. I stopped by two different Walmart?s today and neither could complete my request. Walmart employees are saying that the problem is with Vudu, but Vudu is saying that the problem lies with Walmart. Nobody is taking responsibility and now both Walmart and Vudu are suffering from unhappy customers. I would suggest that someone investigate and find a solution wherever the problems falls.

        2) 3s100 Il Route 53, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 ? (630) 545-1060

Was just thinking in the day of instant transmission you would think Vudu could send a batch transmission to Wal Mart managers letting them know that Vudu is having issues with in store D2D service so that the photo shop employees don't look stupid and say "I don't know why it's not working". Heck it's trouble enough now finding just one employee who even knows what Vudu is or how to convert movies. Wal Mart I went to had no customer service number to call for Vudu and no clue there was an issue till I told them on my third trip. The clerk (who needed help just logging in) just shrugged his shoulders and said, "It'll be fixed when it's fixed come back tomorrow". Nice huh. The manager I spoke with was even more clueless. "What's Vudu"?

Wal Mart and Vudu could care less about the gas wasted, time spent or frustration even when you inform both that there is a problem.

Hey at least your local Walmart knows how to do D2D. I had a kid tell me that he can't do that because it's copyright infringement.
