    My Movies Disappeared!!!!!

    Hello Readers/Helpers,
So I am not the most tech savvy person, but I know a bit about all three sites that are associated with my Ultraviolet.
    • Flixster
    • Vudu
    • Ultraviolet

So I have my accounts linked correctly I see all the movies in Flixster and in Ultraviolet but nothing shows in my VUDU. I have a very extensive movie collection that I can not access on VUDU's site. I have attempted contacting VUDU support and to no avail, there was no response, no acknowledgment, absolutely nothing. Maybe the public can help me. I have unlinked and relinked my account and still my movies will not show in the "MyVudu--> MyMovies" tab. Anyone else seeing this? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks for reading,
    Tisha467

I also have lost 27 movies on the Vudu site but it is due to the lousy U/V site. This is because some of my movies were purchased or redeemed through other sites and not on Vudu so they sometimes show up on Vudu and other times don't.

I am in the same boat, I am missing over 100 movies, I think it is movies I purchased on cinemanow, but can't be sure yet because cinemanow only loads 900 of my 2200+ movies UVVU use to be correct but since the messed up the website idk what to do. How do we prove what we had?

Double check on Vudu that your account is linked to UV. Sign in to Vudu on the web, under your sign in name go to Ultraviolet info, if you are linked it should say so.
If your Vudu account shows a UV link, make sure you don't have more than one UV account or vice versa more than one Vudu account. If everything is correct contact them again (888) 554-VUDU

I had a similar issue where about 80 of my movies were missing on Vudu. The issue was caused by changing the parental controls on the UV site at the suggestion of UV tech support to restore my collection. Turning off the parental controls brought all my movies on Vudu back again. I think the 80 missing ones might have been redeemed elsewhere from Vudu. I just noticed that the UV site is down for maintenance now. I really hope they are fixing this. It has been an a horror with no rhyme or reason what shows up in people's collections.
I don't trust the website to keep track of everything I own so I have been keeping my own Excel spreadsheet listing the movie, the date I acquired it and the place I redeemed from. This way if I have an issue I can go back to that provider and say it was added on a specific date. It also helps me in tracking my duplicates that I want to get rid of.

So My link is correct even when I click" Go to Ultraviolet" in my manage Ultraviolet tab it shows I'm linked correctly VUDU is not recognizing the link I am only able to see the free movies VUDU provides. Thank for the advice though.
My parental settings are off also. Anything else? Its all appreciated.

In your VUDU settings there is a balance and history tab when you click on your name it shows that you own everything you ever purchase and watch but I guess that is not enough for VUDU to credit us back.

Thanks for your comment about turning off parental controls. It worked and my missing movies are back.

Missing where? In UVVU or VUDU? Could you send me a few movies you're unable to see, so i can take a look.

Sorry Daniel been busy and haven't checked forums in a couple days. Anyway, yeah Im missing the entire collection on uvvu.com and Ive sent several tickets to them and finally got a response saying that they will come back one day. As far as flixster almost everything is still showing up over there. Does me no good though as I hate flixster. I'm a vudu only man when it comes to watching movies via this format. I went from 703 to I think 352. I'm gonna send you a pm and explain something before I head to work this morning. Thanks

Yeah, it's probably more prevalent than we think. I went from 482 to 48 on the UV site.

I hear ya. Its not the uv site that makes me upset. Its when I come to vudu and notice my collection is cut in half makes me worry a little bit. So much time and a good bit of money involved to just get a simple "it will come back" email from uvvu.com. Honestly, It made me look at the streaming market alot different. I sold my game of thrones season 3 code today instead of redeeming it. I will be without season 3 here on Vudu. But, I'm starting to just focus back on my blu ray collection.

Edit: My brother in law is attached to my account on uvvu.com and his is still working. I just logged in and noticed I have 1 movie "Army of Darkness" don't know if my BIL added it recently or what. I seriously doubt it lol. I never owned the movie previously. I unlinked and relinked and it did not go into my vudu account so who knows. I honestly don't care anymore. Might try to sell my vudu account to someone and get out of this market. To frustrating. It's too much of movies not redeeming the way you want, movies not redeeming at all, tickets missing, movies don't read on the d2d apps. Collections disappearing. I've been a big supporter but you kind of run out of gas after a while.

All of my movies on Cinema Now are showing up, but some of my Ultraviolet aren't showing and none of my flixter movies are showing. I would love to have my flixter ones link up.
