Just verified mine has the UV logo as well.

Unfortunately, still no UV symbol for The Terminator (T2 and on are UV), but hopefully Robocop going UV is a sign that more MGM catalog titles will be doing the same in short order.

I think he's talking about the blu ray (Unrated Director's Cut) that was released on Jan 21. It should have come with a UV copy if they were going UV this soon.

Wow this is good news. Probably a tie in with the remake that just came out. I hope more MGM catalog titles will have UV soon. I have quite a few I'd purchase instantly if they were UV.

Oops. I Didn't know that. I have an older release I guess. I did get a digital copy code from Walmart. I don't remember what movie it came with though. Not Robocop. It was when they were throwing random movies like "Been and Joone", "Terminator", etc... on different blu rays.

Well, now that it's UV, hopefully ti goes D2D soon as well. I'd love to add it to my UV collection that way instead of buying it again.

Hopefully this means more MGM titles are on the way. I have RoboCop already, but only because of a VUDU code that came with The Terminator(Remastered) from Wal-Mart.

                          Re: Robocop just went UV

Went to the UV website and, no surprise, it's not showing up there (along with half my other movies). However, on one of the other UV providers, it's showing as UV also, but not currently available there for streaming. I also have Robocop 2 and Robocop 3 in my collection, and they are still showing as non-UV. This is a good start, however. Fingers crossed that the Bond and Rocky films will start appearing as UV soon...

I wonder if this is a test to see if it results in increased sales? If it does, maybe they will add more later!

Hopefully but as the Robocop BR was just released two months ago, it is potentially a different conversation than older MGM titles that haven't seen recent distribution deals signed.
