    VUDU TO GO ISSUE

    Hello ....

I haven't been to the forum in quite some time. Still enjoying my VUDU service almost to 400 movies now.

I just recently started another VUDU account with my son's email address. I wanted to take advantage of VUDU TO GO in home D2D. My account is a Wal Mart account of which is impossible to use with VUDU TO GO. Can't log in as there is no Wal Mart log in. I'm hoping the VUDU engineers are working to add Wal Mart log-in's in the future. I have been offered to merge my account by setting up a new VUDU account but haven't taken advantage of that as I am worried about losing titles in the transfer. Can I be assured I won't lose titles? And will they be in the correct definition? Almost all of my movies are HDX.

Anyway, I converted 13 movies on VUDU TO GO on 3-12-14. One of the movies I converted "Behind Enemy Lines" 2001 with Gene Hackman & Owen Wilson didn't convert properly. I was given "Behind Enemy Lines Colombia" 2009 instead and didn't notice until I converted another 10 movies last night. I tried the disc again and it's pulling up "Behind Enemy Lines Colombia" when Behind Enemy Lines disc is used for conversion to D2D. My copy is a DVD. Is this something that can be fixed? Meaning am I able to get the correct copy of the movie put in my account? I did submit a ticket under my son's account but haven't heard anything.

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks .. Sandra

The account merge won't be a problem. If anything did go wrong, we would take care of the issue.

For the other issue, what is your case reference number?

      Re: VUDU TO GO ISSUE

I had the same issue with Behind Enemy Lines mapping to Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia. I submitted it in the "In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues" thread a couple of weeks ago. I did not submit a ticket, however. That's the only disc I have left to D2D that didn't map correctly. The rest are all either not eligible or have problems when reading the disc. I'll take them to Wal-Mart at some point.

        Hello Dan ...

First I want to take care of the issue with the VUDU TO GO at home D2D issue with "Behind Enemy Lines" 2001. The reference number is 140317-000747. I sent a request to please give me the correct movie on 3-17. I never received a reply until this past Sunday 3-23-14. And in the reply they are asking me to provide a snapshot of my movie case and disc.

I'm not happy with having to do that, especially when there are known issues with mapping. I DO own the movie "Behind Enemy Lines" made in 2001 and I DON'T own the movie that was given me with my D2D order "Behind Enemy Lines Colombia". I set up a Vudu account under my son's name and his email address so I could use the at home D2D service and still enjoy the movies in my account as I have added him to my UV account as another user.

The Vudu representative "DeeDee" has already closed the ticket. It took days to answer the ticket and then she closed it immediately. How can you close an incident when it hasn't been resolved. I have almost 400 movies with Vudu. I have no reason to "try and get" a movie through D2D by deception. I only want what I purchased.

I don't know how VUDU intends to resolve my issue. I want the movie I own and purchased. Not what I was given.

I think if it wasn't for this forum, issues wouldn't be resolved as using this forum is the only way I have resolved issues in the past. Why have the option to enter a ticket if those you have manning the store aren't capable or knowledgeable enough to fix it. Something the company needs to work on. DeeDee must be aware there are mapping issues or maybe not.

I've tried to insert images here of Behind Enemy Lines movie case/disc but it won't let me so I'll send the photos to you through a private message if I can.

Thanking you for your help with issue Dan.

Regarding setting up a new Vudu account for me so I can use VUDU TO GO, will I be able to use the same email address associated with my Wal-Mart Vudu account? And all my devices are mapped to my Wal Mart account as well as my email address, how is that resolved?

It's Ok Dan. My apology too for being a crank. I appreciate your help. I knew I could count on you. I sent a private message regarding the other issue.
