Vudu's 'Redeem Ultraviolet Copy' Page offers Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America

Vudu's 'Redeem Ultraviolet Copy' Page offers Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America as options now, but when you buy the actual discs, the codes inside do not work

The only codes that work on that page are the Digital HD Copy codes you will find in either new Marvel or Disney Blu-Ray. Disney are not UV unfortunately, otherwise the news would have been posted everywhere.

I'm aware of that, but since Vudu lists those three films as being redeemable, those digital HD codes must exist....but I didn't get them with my purchase. That hardly seems fair to know an item
Is out there, and buy it with that knowledge but then find that by luck of the drawl, you didn't get the very think you thought you were buying.

Hate to burst your bubble but there is a whole thread about this already and what people discovered is that they do not exist yet but maybe will in the future. It was a lot of confusion with the answers Disney gave people who contacted them.

Here's the link to that thread.

Actually, they do exist, as I have redeemed Captain America, and know people who have redeemed Iron Man 2. They may be hard to find, but they exist.

                    Evidence or it never happened.

Disney needs to get its head out & start supporting UV (in addition to the other streaming formats it already supports). Most "new" Marvel stuff after Disney acquired it isn't UV. Older Marvel stuff (especially animated stuff) is UV. Pretty irritating situation.

Kind of like the whole Chronicles of Narnia thing... First two movies were Disney, so they're NOT UV, 3rd was through another studio, so it *IS* UV. This is the kind of ridiculous situation that Disney sequestration causes... Quite irritating. I really hope they get on board soon. One of the few "big" holdouts.

If they'd make their stuff UV (and offer it at REASONABLE prices), I'd snap it up in a heartbeat... But I vote with my money, so I'm not buying their stuff 'til they pull their heads out.

How about a pic of the insert slip with the code on it? The ones that work look like the disney movie rewards slips. The ones that just look like standard itunes digital copies don't.

There was a glitch that allowed people to redeem them that I believe had been fixed. The actual codes do not exist yet. There was quite a bit of research done in another thread on this forum.

The codes may "exist", but movies that come with valid codes do not seem to exist.

Yes. Anyone can say they exist because they were given one, etc... but with no proof all evidence points to the glitch codes that were floating around a while back.
