Typical Universal D2D stubbornness. Best option is to stack up 10 titles and get the bulk discount.

There is a workaround for this problem. Go to www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html and remove it from the list there, after removing it from your vudutogo list. Then, search for the movie at the disc to digital site as though you're taking it to the store to convert, choosing blu-ray of course. Then, run it through the at home program again. Let it choose the sd conversion for $2, and it will then show up properly as a blu-ray.

That fixes maybe most cases, but there are some where the Bluray actually comes up as a DVD. I don't know about Dune though.

I had this happen as well. Vudu had me jumping through hoops, sending them a picture of the Blu Ray, then waiting, then waiting some more. I finally had to remind them that they were aggravating a good customer over a matter of a couple dollars and presto, they were able to give me the Blu Ray version. I appreciate that they did this but the wait was ridiculous.

PM me the email address you use on Vudu and I might be able to fix it from our end for you.

I ran into the same error with that disc last night.

Uh, that *IS* what the workaround is for; it essentially substitutes BD-to-HDX for DVD-to-SD in the underlying cart so that VuduToGo's misread ultimately doesn't matter. However, for now I'd give FelipeF a chance to fix the underlying issue.

Yeah, I had one movie this did *not* work for, obviously a fluke but it happened.
