MD2D- "Location Must Match Billing address"

    MD2D- "Location Must Match Billing address"

    Thanks in advanced! I attempted to do MD2D since it first launched. To this day I get this same error! I called vudu support three times for help, on the first two calls we went through a few problem solving task but unfortunately, they were not able to get it to work. Same error. On the third time, the tech didn't go through troubleshooting steps at all but, suggested I go outside and walk around until I found a spot that works. Well, that didn't work either. Anyone have any advice?

    VUDU doesn't do any fuzzy matching for address. So you have to have exactly what their system expects. St. vs Street can mess you up.

    I had the same issue until I updated my billing address from within the mobile app with GPS on. Suddenly it all worked.

      I tried that too. messed around with different variations such as "street", "St", "St." thus far, none have worked....

          yes....updating billing address is necessary. however, the ONLY way i got mine to work after having the same issue was to do what the tech suggested: remove your APT. # if you have one. it can only read the official street address, apparently not apartment numbers. that's what he said anyway. it worked immediately. just an idea. hope you get it worked out.

            Google Search: what is my address
            use a link and allow the site to know your location.
            It will tell you what others see as your location.

            I got it to work once I edited it using this method.

              You may have to adjust your location settings as well to "high accuracy" instead of battery saving or device only.
