Vudu to Go Disc to Digital Tab Only Shows a Black Screen

    Vudu to Go Disc to Digital Tab Only Shows a Black Screen

    Installed the latest versions of VUDU to Go and Adobe AIR on my Windows 7 laptop, and after logging in to my VUDU account, I only get a black screen under the "Disc to Digital" tab. Any advice? Is this a known issue? I tried disabling my firewall, but it did not make any difference.

    You may want to reinstall Vudu to Go and Air to start fresh. Keep in mind, this will delete any downloaded movies you have on the app.

      I have this same problem. I tried re-installing both VudutoGo and Air but screen continues to stay black.
      Also can not play back my purchases through VudutoGo.

            I am also having the same issue. It worked about a week ago and now all of a sudden I just see a black screen on the Disc to Digital tab. My movies populate and it will allow me to download and view them from the app, but if I try to stream them in the app, I receive the following error: Could not connect to server. Please try logging in again. [#5000]. I have uninstalled AIR and Vudu to Go numerous times with no success. I have also tried disabling the firewall as other responses have suggested and opening the ports on my router. I am running Windows Vista SP2.

                I'm having the same problem as all of you. I've deleted and reinstalled Vudu To Go and Air and I still get the same black screen on Vudu To Go on the Digital Tab. How can this be fixed?

                    I don't know why Vudu Admins are pretending that there is a internet problem. Vudu now requires you to take your movies to a local Wal Mart (Photo Department) to transfer them. That ends my disc to digital. It was good while it lasted!

                      Any news on this bug???? I took my movies to the Wal Mart photo department as the site is now instructing with my list. And the folks in the photo department did not even know what VUDU was?????

                        Sometimes it is your d2d cart that has problems. Have a rep reset it for you.
                        Other times it can be problems connecting to vudu.

                          I am also experiencing the black screen on the disc to digital tab. Using Windows Vista. Is there a fix for this? I'm attempting to use disc to digital for the first time.

                              I downloaded the update for vudu to go but still does not work on Vista. Is anyone with Vudu monitoring this and able to confirm whether this will ever get fixed?
