This is an E-Mail I sent Vudu About Walmart In-Store-To-Digital Conversions

"i went to my local walmart at: 1161 Trenton Ave Findlay,Ohio 45840 to get an in store transfers done.

The 1 woman that even knows how to do it says to me she tried many times to get it to work last time i went in...today it still isn't working.

She said she called 1-888 number and said she still couldn't get it to work. This has been 3 weeks now...shouldn't a tech or someone be going to these stores to work this out?

you and walmart advertise this service YET i'm STILL WAITING to TRY it out. I'm sure others are just as upset at this..THIS NEEDS to be looked into.

I called the OTHER Walmart and they said theirs was down too. VERY FRUSTRATING!"

    tell me what you think?

Good, but you also need to send it to Wal-Mart itself.

You need to call around your local Walmarts and find one that has not yet upgraded to the new Fuji system. Any store that has not yet been upgraded should be able to complete the order.

Sadly my favorite local store hasn't gotten things fixed as I was unable to complete the transaction tonite.

I was optimistic when the lady behind the counter was willing to at least try (though she claimed to have never done a conversion herself and had only watched a few conversion attempts previously).

          She was able to login.
Was able to look me up.
Found the items that needed to be added to the cart.
          Added to the cart.
          Attempted to check-out.
Confirmed that I was of age for purchase/viewing of a couple of R-rated titles that I was working on converting.
Small DOS type command window flashed on the screen.
Spinning circle showed in the pop-up window on the screen that stayed there, then { insert game show losing sound here } as the transaction was aborted, the items went back into the que for me, and we tried again just to confirm the same results.

This is all several weeks after speaking up in the thread here where others were discussing the problem.

you might want to check to make sure that they are checking the security box that pops up. every time I've had that problem it's because they aren't clicking on the box fast enough, or not clicking on it at all

From what I could see, there was no security box. There was a pop-up of sorts, but it went by so quickly that there was no way to see what was being possibly displayed.

From what we'd (the customer service person and myself) had seen there previously there's some sort of pop-up that should be showing saying that the Vudu site isn't permitted for access because of a cert error or because the McAfee app that is installed on that system has pre-determined that the site isn't one that a business computer should be allowed to access.

Until that is resolved, I don't think D2D in-store is going to function correctly at that store.
