DIGITAL ITEMS NOT COMING OVER FROM ITUNES

I redeemed my digital copy for Iron Man2, Captain America The First Avenger, and Thor through itunes. It shows in my library there, so I wonder why if my itunes is linked, that they aren't showing in my library on vudu.

Well, are they showing in your Movies Anywhere account? You need MA linked to Vudu and iTunes. If it's not porting into MA from iTunes, unlink and relink after about an hour. If nothing then, contact iTunes and see if they can manually push an update to MA for your account. Once they are in MA they should be in Vudu. If they are in MA, unlink Vudu from MA and wait about and hour and relink those.

Movies Anywhere has a help article about this issue. It's because those are really old movies that came only with iTunes codes and for whatever reason they are treated as a separate title than the one that's supported by MA. Contact them with proof of purchase and they will fix it.

If I'm correct, those early redeems were from Paramount releases, before Marvel sold to Disney and they re-released everything?

That is correct; my original copies of those four movies were all that way. Disney continued to sell leftover Paramount copies with Disney/Buena Vista UPC stickers for years.

If you redeemed the code directly in iTunes from a disc (*not* thru redeemdigitalmovie.com), it was originally from Paramount; those also show up in iTunes with Paramount (not Disney or Marvel) as the studio and *no* iTunes Extras. If so, contact MA support to get them into MA & Vudu. However, those were also in SD; unless you redeemed them back in Disney Movies Anywhere days (as I did), you may get only SD copies in iTunes, MA & Vudu even after contacting MA.

Newer Disney reissues of those four movies, including the "color stripe" covers and all 4K/UHD editions (Captain America: The First Avenger is out in 4K/UHD already; the other three are hitting 4K/UHD later this year), have standard Disney code slips and will redeem in HD/HDX or 4K/UHD thru MA, redeemdigitalmovie.com or Vudu like current Disney releases.

(Your experience may vary) I had redeemed the Paramount iTunes digital copy disc of Captain America: The First Avenger, it was indeed SD. But when I contacted MA support they gave me the HDX version.
