Disc to Digital not recognizing disc?

    Hi,

Anyone know what to do, I downloaded the disc to digital program when I insert a disc I can hear my computer scan it and then it ejects but the Vudo To Go application did not do anything. There is a Add Disc button so I click that then insert the disc and again it reads the disc, ejects but a message keeps displaying saying "Waiting for Disc." I tried several and made sure they are in the library as titles available like The Bourne Identity.

    Help,

    Thanks,
    Craig

Ignoring the Vudu app for now, will the movies play on your computer? It's possible your drive is pre-DVD or it's just not working correctly.

They are Blu-ray so I wonder if that is the issue. Blu-ray won't play on my Mac.

Is it a DVD drive or a Bluray Drive. If your mac cannot even read or identify a Bluray disc (not necessarily play the movie), then the Vudu to go won't either.

It's a DVD drive. So is there a way to get Blurays in their cloud without a Bluray drive. What's their CS phone number I can't find one.

Thanks, I found it after I asked. Called them and have to take them into WallMart who will convert and upload them to Vudo for me.

              Thanks again

Just remember, you can save a dollar on each on Blu-ray conversions if you convert 10 or more at once at home instead of at Walmart, and you can probably get an external Blu-ray drive for $30-40 bucks, less if you look for a used one on eBay.

If you have a whole cabinet of Blu-rays to convert, and you're sure that a few dozen of them are eligible for D2D, then you might even save money buying an external drive. You'll certainly save yourself a trip. Or better yet, do you have a family member or close friend who has a computer with a Blu-ray drive? Just make sure to log out when you're done...even if you trust them, you don't want them to think they're buying a movie and have it charged to your account!

Have same problem; d2d fails to recognize disc, requests name, finds disc, then spins waiting for disc to be inserted; re-insert disc just loops back through same screens. Don?t tell me to take it to Walmart as they no longer do this. Disc is blu-ray of ?guardians of the galaxy? (2014 first one).

Disney titles (and their associated studios) are not eligible for D2D conversion.

You can go to the following link and type in the movie title to see if it's eligible before even trying the D2D system for the disc.

...why then, does the D2D app show this as a disc in the list??? Why not tell the user that they?ve wasted their time trying to get the disc to load?? Biggest question is how did the version 2 disc load?? Or does the new versions with a valid code bypass this restriction???

The answer is no. You cannot convert Disney titles.
