The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Fandango at Home customers with questions and/or problems with their Fandango at Home service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Fandango at Home Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

      That message doesn't exactly inspire confidence in those who can't get the app to work with Windows 7. If rumors of a price hike are proven true, most of us would like to take advantage of D2D while we still can.

        Just spoke with VUDU support who told me the following:
        • The issue is known and due to the new Windows 10 app rolled out recently.
        • All versions of the V2G app are affected (i.e. Win8, Win7, etc.)
        • The issue also affects the Mac OSX flavor of the V2G app.
        • The new Windows 10 app is supposed to be rock solid.
        • The V2G issue is being worked, is a top priority for VUDU, and while no ETA was given, I was told to expect some progress or at least an update within 2 weeks.


        I will post back with results from trying a Windows 10 new app test.

          I restarted my computer and it's working now! After reinstalling vudu d2d app, air, and adobe flash!

            Awesome - can you share what OS and version you got to work?

            I can confirm that on Mac OSX Mountain Lion after a fresh install of Flash, AIR, V2G and then a reboot all FAILED today.

            Also, I built a Win10 machine and can confirm that while the app does install & work, it does NOT include any Disk-to-Digital functions - pretty much just a streaming app like NetFlix.

            So at present, at least some of us are still left hangin' in the wind...if you are one of those folks, please reply so Vudu gets the message in the hope they care...

              Just spoke with VUDU again and they told me that I was mis-informed previously and the Win10 app does NOT have D2D functionality.

              They reiterated that this is a known issue and that they are working it at the present time. No ETA for resolution was given. I told them they might want to check their forums as the issue is widespread with dozens of posts on the issue.

              Fingers crossed...

                We could not reproduce this issue in our office.

                I just did the test on two Windows 7 laptops, no issue.

                Make sure the network is connected.

                If network is disconnected, D2D html file cannot be loaded, then, it is a black screen.

                Also, it may take very long time to load D2D page.

                More test, launch a browser, copy and paste https://my.vudu.com/embeddedInHomeD2D.html

                  I am also having issues with VuduToGo on mac

                  When i go to check out it asks me to login then it comes back and there is no check out button.

                  I filed a ticket and they said something to the effect that I logged out with the cart open and it froze the cart.

                  So now they need to clear my cart and I need to go dig out all the discs I was trying to add.

                  I am using version 2.3.0
                  I have tried uninstalling air, flash and vudutofgo and then reinstalling and I get the same issue.

                      I still maintain that the blank VuduToGo screens are related to the blank pages I'm seeing at Vudu.com. I think it's just the server is failing to respond or is responding in a way that can't be displayed.

                        Doesn't sound like Vudu is trying to fix the issue at all when they keep maintaining that it's a network error when most of us can't sign in even with all the latest software updates.

                          The issue still remains for me as well.

                          However I was able to install the application on an older laptop to at least process the stuff that was in my cart since I was worried about the possible price hike stuff.

                          I have a stack of Blu-ray discs though that this laptop can't read, so I guess I will wait.

                          This is frustrating because I advertise this service to everyone I know as a superior alternative to iTunes, but it's hard with issues like this that lasts weeks or are just never addressed like the unidentified discs that reporting has served no purpose towards.

                          I'm sure there is a handful of people working hard on all of these things, and they are probably underappreciated and overworked, but someone higher up needs to give them more resources if they want to come on top of this quickly changing streaming media evolution. If I were someone important at Walmart/vudu I'd be throwing cash at a complete loss at this kind of service to assert future dominance. It doesn't seem like that is what is happening at all. And it leads me to fear that at some point it may be abandoned because adoption rate is too low. Are we already in a downward glide? Should I consider making my digital purchases elsewhere?

                            I doubt it's a networking issue. Login is working for me now but still getting blank D2D tab in the app... Opening the URL in my web browser works though and shows the following:

                              Another new update and it's still not working. I was finally able to log in as well, but still getting blank tabs. I opened that url and got the same message, but clicking on that link doesn't do anything.

                                Upgrading to Windows 10 fixed the problem for me (I was on Windows 7 previously).
