I'm assuming the Miller's Crossing error was never addressed by VUDU as I tried it and it failed.

I see a trend here; seems that WB Archive Collection DVDs may have issues (the discs don't read in VudutoGo either).
        My Sheena won't work either.

D2D was never mail in. And no, they couldn?t have a DVD ?hold? service even if they wanted to. You used to be able to bring the discs to Wal Mart, but 99% of thr employees never knew how to do it. Disney wants you to pay full price, that?s why most of their things are 33% more than other studios, and they will never do a d2d.

Vudu does not make the rules the studios lay down, they just follow them.

many discs that don?t work with mobile work with the computer program, but you?ll need a Blu-Ray drive

Bickle thank you so much your post helped me a great deal. I have gotten many upc read errors but now I can try the laptop method. Thanks!

            Follow up question:

When we buy a vudu digital movie or do d2d and it enters our cloud collection, how long is that supposed to last? For many years?

Is there somewhere to find out exactly which studios ARENT participating? I can't seem to find anything on vudu's site about this. And, far as I can tell vudu doesn't have a master list of d2d titles on the site either.

Thanks again for the helpful post.

            Cheers.

It appears that The Abyss is once again D2D eligible (both theatrical and Special Edition), yet my UPC isn?t recognized (024543442165).

There are 7 UPC codes for The Abyss releases. That one is not eligible..... it is for the Directors Cut Widescreen edition. (maybe)

Well that?s annoying. I?d like to convert while the film is still eligible. Since it?s a Fox title, I imagine Disney will eventually pull it from D2D like the other Fox titles.

Fun fact: do a search off the home page for "Abyss" and only the Special Edition is shown.... not the theatrical....

I've had a least of a dozen titles that the UPC was not recognized or invalid. Gave up a long time ago on them.

I have the following movies/UPCs that are not working and give the error of the barcode not being recognized. All are Blu-Ray:

                      Mallrats 91329 07367
                      Galaxy Quest 32429 25696
                      Superman The Movie 85391 13101
                      Donnie Darko 24543 53315

Not sure if the following will work since its a boxset although the individual movies show up as supported. I get the error about the barcode not being recognized:

The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration 97361 38644

                        A Separation 043396397606

Can we get these updated please?

There's a large list of titles that none of their UPCs work - DVD or BR. I doubt Vudu cares to fix them at this point. If they did I'd be happy to forward a list to them. As for A Separation, another UPC for that title works, if you're able to find it cheap in stores or a pawn shop.

Yeah, I don't think the pinned thread at the top of the page is monitored at all. I have a bunch of movies that I'd love to give them money for, if they scanned correctly.

The Road to El Dorado is not recognized at all. 191329085592

Hello? Vudu? Is anyone here? Can you fix these, please?

Also, why have certain movies that used to be eligible not anymore, but their sequels still are? Police Academy, The Transporter, and there were a few others I don't remember.

I've been working with a friend on this issue, just some research into what's not working. It seems there's still around 250-300 titles that are M2D but none of their UPCs work. My uncle ran his own video store for years, so I've bought a lot of his stock since shutting down last year. Some are multiple releases, yet UPCs still don't scan? Some of these titles only have ONE disc released in the US, therefore there is only ONE UPC that should scan correctly. Jake FelipeF is there anyway Vudu could look into these titles again and see if there's a way to work with the studios to get them fixed? We should have to pay full price for a title we own and is listed as being convertible for $2 or $5.
