Rex Strother who was championing this issue moved on to other problems, so I will say no. Kind of a shame as its been almost a year since many of these were reported.

Rex is still very active here, and other places. It's not the fact that customers move on to other things, but it's the fact Vudu has done nothing to fix these, after we done our best at reporting the fails, and I thought when M2D, Vudu asked us to report non-working UPCs, so they could be fixed. Maybe I'm mistaken.

He last posted on this thread almost eight months ago. Other issues have taken priority for him. Of course Vudu should have fixed them.

Yes this one. Why would he continue to post when Vudu didn't do anything? He post daily here, still trying to get changes done at Vudu, but it mostly is on deaf ears.

Hi everyone - sorry I haven't done much over here. After an initial flurry to fix some UPC in MD2D - VUDU seemed to lose interest in making this work better ... so I started working on other posts (UV enabling) that seemed to get more attention.

VUDU - there's a ton of information delivered re: "bad" or "missing" or "mis-recognizing" UPC that could still be fixed for MD2D to work better. It's a shame to make the users do so much work to use the system or be frustrated when it doesn't recognize legit discs.

I wish the ones in charge of M2D would actually visit this thread once in a while. It would be very helpful if they fixed the non working, so myself and many others can convert the rest of our DVDs and BRs.

                Cry-Baby - 025192114328

It's recognized as a DVD and shows a $5.00 "upgrade" fee for HDX. Wish this would be corrected. I know it's only a $3 difference...but there's just something about it not working as advertised that discourages me from following through with the conversion.

I agree and I have not bought M2D for this same reason. I think it's mostly the studios. I think they send Vudu the UPCs and the studios list them incorrectly, and Vudu doesn't bother, want to, or can change it to the correct version.
