Re: How many DVD's did you upgrade/convert?

I've trained about 6 so far. So I have a list of 65 more titles but wasn't sure. It's a lot to d2d to HDX...do you think I'll be able to upgrade those over time for the $3.00 diff.? Seems like UV should sell and digitize letting the consumer choose the end platform...I like it but I want one service...not ten apps to remember each movie is available on...

Maybe i'm the only one using this but at all the walmarts around me within 90 miles. They have blu-rays and dvds with 2 2.00 off d2d coupons inside.

At first it was like green lantern blu-rays now its
          like

Wizard of oz, ace ventura pet detective, yogi bear and an assortment of batmen movies and scooby doo.

They are priced around 7.50 for the dvds and if you can find any blu-rays left they were around 5.00 to 7.50 each

Some of them aren't that great but you can resell the wizard of oz for almost cost and get the 4.00 total coupons for use on the transfer. The ones i have expire in october so maybe your local walmarts have these in store just look on the outside for the sticker.

I am not counting on them adding an upgrade option later, so I started by picking the DVDs I'd most like to have in HD quality and springing the $5 each to upgrade a few at a time.

Right now, I really consider Vudu the service. Once you link to UV the first time it is pretty seamless. They have the opportunity to show iTunes up if they can continue adding support for other platforms (*cough, android) and add download options for mobile devices (only reasons I use Flixster).

As for having to register codes for UV copies through different sites...the studios will continue doing what is easiest/best for them.

I've trained at least 4 reps and will train more if they are willing to learn (I think I must be the only one using this at my store)

Done twenty so far, and try to keep my digital movie set together, for example; have all the Resident Evil, Underworld, transformers series plus some favorites of mine on the go. Loved Vudu I just really which I can watch my movies straight from Vudu without having to go to Flixter app on my android phone & tablet.

Re: How many DVD's did you upgrade/convert?

I am at just over 500 now probably about 75% DVD and 25% BD...The clerks at my Wal-Mart dread seeing me come in. I usually take between 24-56 titles in at a time depending on where the Print List option cuts me off usually at around 24 but one time it did allow 56 I really wish they would fix that quirk on the list and also looking forward to them allowing for you to sort your owned titles by Genres, Alphabetical, or both as I am almost to 600 titles it is annoying to have to scroll through so many when trying to find something to watch. But other than that I absolutely love the service!

Just two. Hot Rod and South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut on bluray. If they ever have a deal or coupon again I will probably take my kung fu hustle dvd and pay for it to be HD.
