Re: Current UV Copies what format SD or HD

Anybody know if Jaws comes in HDX if you redeem it through Universal? Also, same question for The Fast and The Furious and Smokey and the Bandit? I got each of those combo packs and only want to redeem if it's HDX.

I've mentioned this several times to Vudu customer service. I cannot believe that a person who could be a first time customer to the service can walk into a Wal-Mart and get HD copies for $2. Meanwhile, I've been a member for years and I'm stuck with SD copies of dozens of titles. These are virtually useless for my needs. There simply HAS to be an upgrade program in place. And I'm not even factoring in the fact that several of my Blu-Rays did not garner HDX copies even though I realize others did. There appears to be no consistency to the process. It's very frustrating.

Just redeemed The Dictator and its SD, so Paramount is no longer giving out HD.

Sucks. Curious - How did you redeem? Thru Vudu or Paramount?

Damn Paramount! The same happened to me with 'The Devil Inside'. I redeemed on Paramount and it did not show up on Vudu. Then redeemed same code thru Vudu and both versions show up in my uvvu.com account. However, my code was SD from a DVD.

Was it from a wal-mart vudu sticker starting with a V or was it from a paramount insert
