    Re: TV Series Requests

Charmed would be a nice addition.
Maybe the original Battlestar Galactica for some nostalgia.
More Buffy with the inclusion of Angel.
I love that Firefly is on there.
How about going after wrestling or UFC.
WWE would prob. be a no go as they have their 24/7 channel but UFC and TNA and definitely ROH.

        Re: TV Series Requests

I would ditch HBO if I could just have ENTOURAGE. At 1.99 an episode (which is a bit steep for a 30 minute show) I would save 10 bucks a month. I would be inclined to spend that on more content.

            Re: TV Series Requests

I'm kinda ashamed to admit it... seeing as how everyone else seems to have such cool suggestions... but...

I primarily use On-Demand (I'm a Comcastic victim) to watch movies... and babysit the kids.

I know, I know... get off the high horse a second... Sesame Street can get them quiet for an hour...

If you do anything in the "TV" space... you MUST have children's content (suggestion... make it free... or subscription based)... I'm sure PBS will sell their content.

That's it... you get that. I'm done.

forgot to add in my last post:

                Kid Nation

sUNtiGEn requested children's content and I thought this series was actually quite good. Several kids I know love it and the parents watch it with them. 40 kids (ages 9 to 15) over a period of 40 days ran Bonanza City, a pioneer town, by themselves.

                  Re: TV Series Requests

Firefly is a great one-season wonder, and can't wait until the HD version is up here.

Another awesome single-season show was Keen Eddie, which I'd love to see here, and especially if the studio would allow the original score to be a part of it. That would be a one-up on any other TV purchase/rental system currently out there.

Austin City Limits (on PBS) would be awesome.
Soundstage (on PBS) would also be awesome.

There are are seriously good concerts on both of those shows.

Would definitely like something along those lines, as well.

                        Recommendations:

                        "Classic" TV Series like:

                        M*A*S*H
                        All In the Family
                        Rockford Files
                        I Love Lucy
                        Rockford Files

                        etc

I wouldn't pay a LOT for these as individual episodes, but if there were a pay one price, say $100 for access to the full libraries of 10 different shows, I'd be all over it...

I'm all about paying a lump sum up front and having perpetual access to things, I've never been one to pay .99 here and .99 there...
Loving my VUDU, and I can't wait for "more"

This is a great breakout idea. My neighbors babysit their grandchildren and go through DVD players - the kids put in Thomas the Train(?) and almost any silly Disney animation again and again and again. The DVDs eventually become pb&j encrusted coasters; they also bought several those $49 DVD players in anticipation.

Telling moms & dads that they can repeat these shows endlessly without replacing tape or dvd would be a nice niche market win for a breakout product.
