Funny, I was just looking at them earlier and seasons 1 & 2 were the only ones from the series that DID HAVE he UV symbols on them. Not sure what screen you're looking on...

See that "redeem UV" button @ top? Yep, they're UV!

As opposed to season 3... No "Redeem UV" button. So, not UV on that, yet.

Re: Upcoming blu-rays (and DVDs) with UV codes

Y'know what would be five kinds of awesome? And extra drop-down in the Browse section of the site and/or Apps along the lines of "ALL / VUDU-only / UV / UV Disc2Digital"

That is, I'd love to be able to "browse" a list of titles that's narrowed to either ALL UV-compliant rights-cleared titles available for purchase on VUDU or to only those UV titles where D2D is available. vs the stuff that's ONLY available on VUDU currently.

It would make things a lot easier to sort through.

Also, it would be extremely nice if there were a drop-down or way to search for prices. I'm guessing you'd get a lot more sales that way from folks looking for "deals." Say "titles under $10" "titles $10->$15" "...$15-20" "$20-30" "$30-50" "$50-100" "$100-200" "$200+" (I'm guessing the most expensive stuff would be things like movie collections/bundles, complete series, etc. & the stuff under $10 would be things currently "on sale," given the generally 'overpriced' nature of digital-only products at the moment).

Is there any way the list can be updated please? Looks like there are many titles that have been added that the list doesn't reflect.

This thread seems to have cooled off quite a bit, so I am going to try to jump on here from time to time to provide some sort of update. So, here it goes:

Got an email from Amazon yesterday that the new date for "Star Trek: Into Darkness" is September 10th. That's actually a couple of weeks earlier, so that works for me!

Re: Upcoming blu-rays (and DVDs) with UV codes

I recently purchased the new bluray release of The Great Escape from Amazon. This did not come with a digital copy. I was in Walmart yesterday, and I noticed the film, but this one had the UV/Digital copy sticker on it. Checking Amazon again, I see that The Great Escape is still for sale, but no UV. This raises a couple of questions....

Are there UV exclusives at Walmart? (that makes sense given the Walmart/Vudu relationship. Also, The Great Escape is not eligible for D2D conversion, which also makes sense if there is exclusivity).

Is there a way to find out what other bluray releases might have UV/Walmart exclusives? In particular, there are two titles I'm interested in:

Stalag 17 (October 8 release date)
The Eagle has Landed (October 15 release date)

                Any info is appreciated.

Yes. There are hundreds of Walmart exclusive codes. Some DVD only, some blu ray only. Chances are your movie is one.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a list of upcoming titles?

Nope. It's seemingly random. No 2 walmarts seem to have the same movies with codes either. My Walmart has a 7.88 blu ray bin and $5 DVD bins that are usually full of random movies with codes. You just have to dig through and see what they have. Also, they are in store only as far as I know.

It is VERY random, and new titles get added all the time. Some of them are just VUDU only copies though, and not UV. Quantum of Solace is one example that I have. It was in the 7.88 bin and specifically said that it came with a VUDU copy. So make sure you check the sticker for UV, unless you're ok with it just being on VUDU. Either way, I say that's a pretty sweet deal.

Random is as random does...no big deal there. As for Vudu only, again, no big deal. Eventually, hopefully, they will be made UV and then they will be available across the universe. As long as I get to watch them, I'm happy, other people with attached accounts can wait...
