Please get HD on android. I just converted my first 17 dvds I have about 200 more to convert but was devastated that I have no way to get the movies in HD on my kindle Fire HDX. To vudu's credit the app works great side loaded and the SD quality is way better than flixters' crappy sub 1gb downloadable files. But with the insanely high native resolution of the HDX SD looks really bad on an 8.9" screen.

Bottom line is between direct digital purchases, dvds and conversions Wal-Mart stands to get about $500/year from me that if I can get HE on my fire. Otherwise that money is probably going to Amazon.

Op also mentioned that you have to re-enter your password all of the time, and your FAQ says that Facebook login is not supported yet either. I don't like to have to reenter my password all of the time. Please provide the option of remembering the password (I'm the sole user of my tablet & shouldn't have to reenter it all of the time.
I'd rather NOT login with Facebook, but at least if you fixed that, perhaps I would have a way to login once (a day even) and not have to keep re-entering it.

Re: Updated: Vudu comes to Android phones and tablets

Is there any chance we'll get support for more phones soon? I recently got my first smart phone, a ZTE Valet, which has Android 4.1, and would love to be able to access my Vudu movies on the go. Otherwise, I gotta use Flixster or CinemaNow and can only access my Ultraviolet titles. Vudu's been my digital video service of choice and I'd like to continue using it. (Particularly since Amazon also doesn't support video on my phone and digital copy redemption codes aren't available for CinemaNow.)

I have a Samsung tab 3 with the latest version of the Vudu app installed. For some reason I can't get the program to save to the sd card. Ive followed all the normal suggestions to make this work. Does it matter that the sd card is only 4gbs? There is 3 gigs available on the card still.

Re: Updated: Vudu comes to Android phones and tablets

I suggest you remove the app and download the latest version from Google Play. That should now make it recognize the memory card for downloads.

Re: Updated: Vudu comes to Android phones and tablets

Please get more devices supported! A number of competitor services have wide open compatibility. Why not Vudu? I don't want to switch to one of them when I've already invested in movies on Vudu.

I have a HTC One SV that is running ICS 4.1.2. I can find the Vudu app on the play store but I get the message indicating my device isn't supported. I have read that the only requirement is that the phone is running ICS. Does anyone have any idea when this phone will work?

                      Hello

Our apologies, but that phone does not meet the requirements we have to run our application. However, I would be happy to pass your request on to our Android teams here.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which I have enjoy watching movies except when I try to pause or rewind the movie. Then I get no response. The screen doesn't react most of the time. Is it a problem with my phone?

Do you still encounter the same issue after you re-install the application?

I am thinking of getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 for the processor and Higher Definition. Please tell me it's a supported tablet? I hope, I hope, I hope!

For anyone who is looking at the Galaxy Tab Pro, Vudu works beautifully. And with the supported 64 gb SD card I can download tons of my movies and TV shows.

                                Very happy with this purchase!
