I'll try to check on the memory that is available and report back on that.

On the Adobe Air question, I had read through this thread previously and wound up installing (hoping it might help the situation) Adobe Air separately *after* having these issues so it should be the most current version available.

I would note that one of the competing UV partner apps offered a "Settings" feature to bump up the memory used for caching playback. I made sure that was set fairly high in that app though it wasn't having problems to begin with. I assumed that more cache memory within the app would be helpful to the app
If you have experience a better experience with previous version please PM your email address I can send you the older version for you to install. However I don't think that can be the case.

I use the app "Memory Usage" to check for the memory info.

Regarding Adobe Air, I got some random report for that and I am looking for if it can help the issue. Personally we couldn't reproduce the issue of playback in our lab.

We don't need to increase cache as the current setting is optimal and sufficient for playing back. Since you tested the fully downloaded movie then network is not a problem. We will have to find the exact tablet to test in our lab (we don't have all of the tablets on market).

    Thanks,
    LLN

Currently our software is not approved for HD. We are working on it.

I see that there was an update to the app on 5/3/2013. 1.3.203

Downloaded to the replacement Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (VZW) that I just got back (my original died, battery stopped charging ) from VZW support and gave it a try again. It may be a little better than previously, but still stutters too much in the video to be acceptable.

CinemaNow app and Flixster app still work fine.

Android 4.0.4 ICS ROM (stock) on the device - streaming via Wi-Fi when testing rather than from locally downloaded copy.

We don't have this tablet so it will take time for us to acquire one and then fix it. This is 1st model that we see this issue.

BTW, can you go to Settings - Developer Options - There are 2 options may help this issue:
                  - Disable HW overlays
                  - Force GPU rendering

Let me know if any of those can help your playback problem.

                  Thanks,

Re: Updated: Vudu comes to Android!

I would use Vudu all the time and buy movies only from there if they allowed use of the SD card to download movies. As it is, the app is useless for anyone with a measured data plan because you can only stream with it unless you happen to have some space for a movie. The app itself can be put on the SD card, Flexster movies can go on the SD card. I think the big reason a Tablet would be used is lost on Vudu, to be able to watch movies on a plane, or anywhere there is no data connection, along with not having a plan that would allow constant streaming.
                    PLEASE get this fixed!
                    Thanks.

The support for SD card is coming soon in the next release in a couple of weeks.

Flixster crashes due to the size of my collection (around 370 movies), and also slowness. Funny, I have slowed down adding movies due to problem Also it takes forwever to find a movie in Flixster because you can't access the movies you own via search on flixster, and loading the my movies takes a long time but crashes more often than not.

I have this problem with Flixster on both my son's Kindle Fire as well as my Galaxy Note 2.

Vudu on my iPad is perfect, it doesn't crash and loads the movie list relatively quickly.

Flixster sucks. My daughter can't link UV to her Flixster account...gets this stupid error "There is a problem with your account. We have logged the error. Please try again." Would prefer a Vudu app for the Kindle Fire, would probably work much better because she can already stream from Vudu.

Is there any update on the phone version? It's not always practical to bring my Nexus 10 along, so having the option to view on the phone would be great.

And please, for the love of everything, add some sorting options to the mobile app and the web. Or at the very least, give us an option to choose the sorting default. I'm still puzzled as to how the apps for everything EXCEPT web and mobile have sorting.

Have you tried sideloading the app onto the phone? I was able to do that for both my Kindle Fire HD and LG Optimus G and it works fine on both.
