    Well count me as one who is being affected by the buffering issue. What's really strange for me is that in the past, I would get this issue while watching a HDX movie. Well, last night I rented 21 Jump Street in HD. About 3/4 in, I started getting the Buffering Issues. Finally after the 3rd or 4th time, I reluctantly chose to watch the ending in SD format. However, after a few minutes in SD, it started buffering AGAIN!!! I ended up with a message saying I could not watch the movie and try back later (or something like that).

    Last year, when I called into Tech Support, they gave me a new network configuration which resolved the issues. Has those settings changed???

    BTW -- I did the speedtest and I averaged 17mbs download...

      I'm having the same problem.

      35 minutes into the immortals HD. Buffering.

      Speed test?
      Results
      Download Speed: 40897 kbps (40.9 Mbps)
      Upload Speed: 4162 kbps (4.2 Mbps)

      Can't watch SD. Says "try again a little later."

      The entire point of paying $4.99 to watch a movie is to watch when you want, not "a little later." If I wanted to watch "a little later" I would go out and pay $1 at redbox.

        30 minutes left of 'The Switch' and the buffering starts. 9:45PM EDT. I really wish somebody would tell me what I need to do to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Half an hour later, just a couple minutes to go. Still buffering. Is there anybody out there?!?!?!?! Vudu used to be great for me. WHAT CHANGED?!?!?!

            Sorry I'm making so many posts in a row here, but it's not my fault Vudu won't answer me. I called AT&T Uverse support, and the only information I could get from her is that Vudu is not blocked. She told me that my Internet Suite or virus software could be affecting my issue, but c'mon, my Blu Ray player has nothing to do with software on my computer!!! When I asked her questions about trace routes, she quickly forwarded me to their premium support, at which point I hung up. I REFUSE to pay for a problem that isn't mine!!! C'mon Vudu!!! You're a big giant company!!! Find out why your service doesn't work well with my Uverse now!! A few months ago, I NEVER had these buffering issues. And I was on 1/3 the speed I'm on now! FIX IT!!!!! Or at least tell me to go to hell. Say something!!!!!!!! A couple nights ago, I watched a TV show I own on Vudu, and no buffering issues. My kids watched a movie one afternoon and it didn't buffer either. I'm leaning toward a Vudu problem

              I'm pretty sure this is a vudu side issue that you're not going to be able to fix on your own.

              I've rented 100s of movies from vudu without issue until the last couple weeks.

                I tried watching Four Weddings and a Funeral (99 cent special) Thursday night in HDX and about half-way through it stopped to rebuffer (a rare occurrence). Afterward the audio and video were out-of-sync by a lot. Let me propose that what is happening at VUDU is what has happened at Netflix, it has become too popular and their server farms are becoming overloaded. With school out and summer vacations in full swing more people are using VUDU. Tie that in with the fact the heat wave across much of the country is forcing more people to stay indoors is driving up the demand for streaming entertainment. My 2 cents.

                  Vudu -you out there? Have you looked into this numerous buffering issues? I would like to watch some HDX movies this weekend but not going to pay for something that won't work!!!
