How many movies and TV shows do you have in your Vudu collection?

As of today, my Vudu collection shows that I have 312 movies.

But that number is wrong because the total count includes bundles that contain three or four titles within each bundle.

The Vudu collection count total doesn't include TV shows either.

So, I did the math and I have 338 movies. I cannot figure out the total TV shows (individual episodes), but I have these:

    True Blood: 1,2,3,4
    Big Bang Theory: 1,2,3,4,5
    Boardwalk Empire 1,2
    Game of Thrones 1
    Grimm 1
Dreamworks Dragons Riders of Berk 1,2
    2 Broke Girls 1
    Strike Back 1
Best of I Love Lucy 1,2
    Disney Prep & Landing

Once TV show doesn't show up on Vudu (only on Flickster): Falling Skies 1.

How many movies (and TV shows) do you have in your Vudu collection?

I have about the same number as you, but I have fewer television shows.

Technically I have more because I have UV titles that VUDU has not yet added to their site. I have been working this week to try to get VURU to add some of these additional authorized UV titles so I can access them through VUDU.

I am adding more titles later today when I go to Walmart. After that I may do the math and post how many titles I have.

      298 Movies
      17 TV Seasons

I have more then that in my UV library because some are not available on VUDU. Hopefully one day they will be. The ones that are not available are mostly TV Seasons...

Re: How many movies and TV shows do you have in your Vudu collection?

Now that my missing UV titles are showing we have 340 movies and 4 television shows (full season).

I thought that I also had converted Jeremiah Johnson but after looking through my CinamaNow receipts I see that I didn't convert that one and the reason why was because their PC program says it's not an avialable titles even though it's on their current list. I will need to contact them to find out why this title is on their list but the program says it's not on the list.

tfisher, I found a UV code for HP7Part2 in the Blu Ray Box. It said to redeem it through Flixster, so I did. It does show up on the Vudu side as well. I don't know much about the hierarchy of all of this, but should that mean that your CinemaNow copy should show on Vudu?

It cannot show on VUDU because VUDU doesn't have that movie loaded on their server. I bought the DVD from Walmart and the studio has even approved it for Disc To Digital. It's a UV title...so I cannot think of any reason it cannot be added to VUDU...except for the fact that they just haven't done it.

HP7P2 does show up in my Vudu account. I don't understand why it doesn't show on yours.

I don't understand how it could show in yours since it doesn't even show up when you do a search on Vudu.

Can anyone else find "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2"?

It's probably in the "HBO Window" - if you already bought it you'll see it, but if you haven't it may be unavailable for a while. (and, yes, it seems odd, but that doesn't mean it's not UV redeemable... it's all about the licensing details...)

HP7Part2 shows with the rest of my movies. I don't have HBO or an HBO window. I'd post a screenie, but it's not allowed.

By "HBO Window" I mean this (though caveat - that article is 3 years old and those deals are expiring soon... it's at least interesting historically

I have never seen Part 2 avilable on Vudu (that doesn't mean that it wasn't but I don't recall seeing it). My real question is why it's not available now since the studio has authorized it for UV and Disc to Digital. Everyone else has this movie except for Vudu.

Are you saying that VUDU has restrictions that no one else has regarding making content available?

I read that article...it is talking about movie download sales, but we're talking about UV here. I own the movie and it shows on the UV website. I have access to my movie on CinamaNow (who also has the movie available for Disc to Digital).

I don't see any reason why VUDU cannot add this title so that those of us who own the movie can access the movie.

It was available on VUDU for most of the 1st half of 2012. If you know of any other service that has it available for streaming (not UV via DVD/BD purchase which is different) please point it out...

Like I said...CinamaNow has the movie listed as a UV title availabe for disc to digital. That is how I loaded my copy to UV. I can play the movie on CinamaNow also.

Since the studio has authorized this movie for UV then I see no reason why Vudu cannot add this title.

What makes this even more interesting is that jeffpn claims he can access his copy on VUDU.

There are other UV titles VUDU is missing that CinamaNow has also (Dolphin Tales, Jackie Chan's First Strike, and Jeremiah Johnson just to name a few). And Jeremiah Johnson is much older than 3 years.
