They could still do their own locker but from comments I heard from their executives make last year I think they will be going with UV but not necessarily right away. They could add support for it later but they have to join eventually. If Wreck it Ralph is their first UV title I will be doing cart wheels but I think they would have announced something by now.

When did they say that they were abandoning their locker service? Sure, they shut down their Disney Movies Online streaming service, but they are still advertising it's replacement, Disney Movies Anywhere as coming soon.

But I would love to be proven wrong.

Hard to say. It wouldn't be like Disney to actually embrace UV, at least not yet. But doesn't hurt to be positive minded about it. Anything is possible.

        Disney:
"it's the first movie that customers will be able to buy on download and streaming service's (plural) weeks before the disc is released."

Just have to wait and cross our fingers. Not to long from now.

Maybe a good sign, anyone else notice this? I launched the VUDUToGo app today on my mac for the first time and noticed a tab show up for a split second for "Disc To Digital". It did repeat on multiple exits and launches.

I snapped a screenshot on my third attempt...slow on the draw to show where the tab is.

Can't we buy Disney movies right now on Vudu if we wanted?
They aren't UV compatible , but we still can buy them. So maybe that's all they are going to do is let us buy it on Vudu and other streaming services weeks before the disc comes out.

That's what I assume they meant, but others think it means UV. I guess it's just wait and see at this point. It's one of the few times I hope I am wrong

More on topic, I was really hoping today was the day they would launch the Vudu d2d. Last monday in the month. I think they launched their store based d2d on a Monday.

                I tried it a few times and didn't see anything...but still, that's encouraging! \o/

I just did the update for the Vudutogo App and I see it every time I launch it and then it disappears.

Ditto for me on the Mac. Seems like we're getting closer, at any rate...

The way I did is first I uninstalled Vudu To Go then I just downloaded the app by clicking download on a movie and the browser presented a link.

Hmmm...I wonder if it will self-update at some point?

That would be nice... Other Adobe air apps I run do.

Thanks. I was looking for a download page. That explains why I couldn't find one.

I just downloaded it and I do see the disc to digital tab, but when I click on it it disappears. Oh well. Hopefully that means soon. Maybe tomorrow when the new releases are out? That's generally on Tuesdays.
