lostinva the one that I'm talking about is this one I just posted about.
I should have been more specific in the above post and said for the Blu-ray copy. Sorry about that. But I decided to pick this thread since it was talking about the Blu-ray copy of the preorder

    This one.

I ended up buying this because at the $19.96 price I thought that was good. Was even more surprised when it rang up at $14.96

Just seems too good to be true. $14.96 is the advertised price for the DVD pre-order of just BDp2.

I'll check my Walmart tomorrow and if rings up that price for me I'll definitely bite.

I hope it's true for you and all the Wal-mart stores and not just a local. I've called a few Walmart stores in different states and their prices are ranging all over the board any where from $18.96 (three stores in 3 different states had it for that price) to around $24.96. One store had it for about $22.96. I wonder if this is a new price that was just pushed to all the stores and in some of the store they just haven't corrected it?

$18.96 at my store, did not check around. $6 off is still not a bad deal.

If stores are getting different sale prices then it's probably based on local competition. For example markets with a Best Buy tend to be more aggressive with sales than markets with only a Target or K-Mart.

If you go out looking for this heads up, there are two different upc's for the very same set. Just for fun make sure you scan both upc's in the store before taking up to purchase. UPC 2519218264 is the one that rang up for $14.96

            ***update***
Sorry this UPC is for the Blu-ray of Breaking Dawn part 2 movie only

Is Twilight supposed to be UV compatible or just VUDU?

As of right now it's just Vudu but there is thoughts that on March 2nd when BD part 2 comes out it might become UV compatible

I applogize. For previous posts about the UPC. I just realized the UPC I posted was for the Breaking Dawn part 2 movie only on Blu-ray. My store had them all mixed in together

Since this is on the Twilight series and streaming I have a question. Now that the movies have finally become Ultraviolet, ($9.99 for HDX copies special sale), I wonder if they will also be added to the disc to digital program soon? I have all the Blu Ray's and really don't want to spend $40.00 + just to add them to my UV library. Is there any listing of upcoming D2D with dates?

I wish there was a listing. It still doesn't look like any of the previous Twilight movies are Ultraviolet yet BTW.

As Starkenator said, they may be available on Vudu, but they are not Ultraviolet. Maybe if we are lucky, they will convert on 3/2 or in the near future.

Aaarrrrggghhh! Well I should have just coughed up the $40.00 because as of today the sale has ended, (without any warning), and the prices have shot back up. So now if I wanted to buy the four it will cost me over $75.00. I spent a good part of the afternoon yesterday searching for any hints as to whether disc to digital might be an option for these titles anytime soon. Lionsgate, which bought Summit Entertainment, has been reaping huge gains from entering the UV market and they plan on milking this clearly. I found one article that said they are gung ho about the disc to digital program but of course no mentions of these titles.

Thank you Starkenator for pointing out to me that they aren't even showing as UV titles yet. I had missed that. I am guessing that since they are just entering the UV market, Hunger Games was their first new release, that it will take some time and they will be available for D2D. The big question is how long??

So... where the Hell do you buy this? Because I have not seen it in my Walmart at all for the past 2 weeks. I keep going in, and they are not there =\

They have others for pre-order, but not this movie?

So the package will contain one or two codes for Part 1 and 2? And will Part 1 VUDU copy be the extended edition or standard? Thanks.
