3 new (release) titles found: Latest Updates

Recent releases will not convert with VUDU To Go software. You will need to take the discs into Walmart to get converted.

I took Mr. and Mrs Smith in store to get the unrated version done and their computer rejects it. They said a message pops up on their screen saying it's not eligible for d2d. weird.

That's weird, I had been planning to take my copy to the store for about a year because when I did it at home it put the rated version in my library not the unrated. I brought it in today and they put the unrated version in my library so I wonder if there was something wrong with their computer or maybe you already have it in your library and didn't realize?

MadMod if you own the Bluray when was the last time you put it in the vuduToGo App? Not sure how long ago it was but the Bluray I have started reading Unrated but before that it had only read as the Theatrical Version. If it still reads Theatrical in the VuduToGo app then your best bet is to put the Unrated Version of the Disk on your Instore List here: http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html and that way when you go in all they have to do is bring up that list and move the disk from your list into thier cart. You can also print out your instore list and bring that into Walmart. Making an In-Store list for all the movies you plan to convert is always best because the Walmart Employee can Bring up that list on their end and just move it into the cart. Atleast thats what I always did when I went in Until a few months ago when their connection to Vudu went down and still has not been fixed, which really sux because the Walmart I go to has Employees who actually know what they are doing when it comes to vudu Disc to Digital.
I hope this helps you out.

Last year I converted Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Unrated) via in-store Disc-to-digital. You should still be able to do this as it still comes up as available for D2D if you search for it.

That's how I did it but the guy said it wasn't taking. I always pre-print my lists. I tried the BD again and you are right. It read in the Vudu 2 go app as unrated. Thanks for that.

Looks like after complaining about The Godfather I & II and sending screen shots they finally fixed it. Looks like Godfather I & Godfather II can be taken off the list. They read correctly as Bluray instead of [Bluray] - DVD.

Will these titles be added to the Vudutogo program at some point in the future? My local walmart doesn't do d2d and has no plans to re-add that ability to their store.

And Chasing Amy still doesnt show as eligible on the Vudutogo programs, months after it was added to the d2d list =(

Call 1-800-Walmart and let them know. EVERY store can do D2D. Some just are not properly trained. Seriously, MAKE THE CALL. Walmart will get the store trained, and they WILL be able to do it for you.

Agreed, 100%. You're not asking them to do anything illegal or unusual, you're simply asking them to do something that Walmart corporate established.

Be civil, be persistent and you'll get it done.
