Disc-to-digital is not in beta, Vudu To Go is. And how long do they need it to remain in beta? Based on my experience it seems to work well, with the exception of the occasional movie that it doesn't recognize and I have to take to Walmart for in-store D2D.

The only thing that is good about the UV codes is that it saves you $2 for the cost of D2D, which is fine but D2D should still be available for all UV titles.

Might want to try again to see if it's specific to your disc. I tried my copy again and it still states "Unable to identify this disc".

In home Disc to Digital is beta for Vudu, Cinemanow and Flixster. They still seem to be slowly working out a few kinks in the Vudu program and there seems to be some tricks to getting some movies identified correctly. At this point though, I don't know if it will look much different when it comes out of beta. I agree, overall it works very well.

They finally added A League of Their Own in HDX. Wonder if anything else got added? The Maltese Falcon also popped into my account (I have the Warner 50 collection added to Vudu).

Jerry Maguire was finally added. It is UV but not D2D enabled though.

                Fatty,

Could you run an update on the D2D list, hasn't been done since the 7th and some new stuff has been added.

Looks like 40 new movies found today: Latest Updates

                  I'm aiming for:
                  • Galaxy Quest
                  • The Mexican
                  • Saturday Night Fever (I need more comedies)

I've been running this every couple days since the last batch and have not seen anything new until today. Does anyone know when vudu adds new titles? Is it Friday mornings? Or random?

LOL no not sure VUDU even knows I have all these movies in a wish list and every once in a while I look to see if any have changed to UV. This morning I noticed some had been added. Galaxy Quest was one I have been waiting for. I check you list pretty much daily.

It looks like some of the titles arrived yesterday or before, so I'm going to go with the random updates option.

And I'll always post a note here in this thread when I add anything new to the google doc, so the best way to get updates from my updates is to subscribe to this thread.

Strange! The Mexican and Furry Vengeance are available for Disc-to-Digital but they do not show as UV until AFTER you convert them.

In the past Mods have said to look for updates to be released on Thursday or Friday. IIRC it was in regards to both the program and eligible titles.

Time to run the update yet You know VUDU doesn't "make a list" because people can D2D and not pay the $15+++ if we don't know the movie we want is available for D2D kinda smart in a mean kinda way on their part..

I ran it a few hours ago with no new titles found, but I'll give it another shot now. I'm east coast and according to the semi-recent press with the break-in, I think vudu is in Cali so maybe they update the DB before leaving work on Thursdays...
