BBC Africa not showing up in VUDU after entering on Flixster?

I entered the UV code from Africa http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...frica-Season-1 on Flixster since the code slip said to use Flixster. I entered it on March 17th and it's March 20th and still no sign of the title in VUDU? Typically I have seen titles transfer in like 24 hours.

I generally try to enter everything via VUDU but I couldn't find a place to enter the UV code for Africa.

Did you try looking here first? If it's on the Ultraviolet site, then it should be on Vudu unless Vudu doesn't have a copy of the movie?

Yes, it shows up in my UV account and yes it is available on VUDU at the link provided in my initial post.

Currently BBC content is not UV-able in VUDU (you can see no UV logo). We are trying to contact BBC to resolve this issue.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps they should take the big UV logo off of the code slip inside the package and on the front of the Blu-ray. I was under the impression that my purchased UV content was available on VUDU.

The product is uv , but Vudu doe not have the UV rights for said title right now, so the stickers are correct. Not all streaming services have all the UV right for all studios. Cinemanow does not have UV rights for paramount titles.

Re: BBC Africa not showing up in VUDU after entering on Flixster?

It seems really odd that BBC has in place a contract for Vudu to sell Africa in HDX, but it does not allow Vudu to have UV rights.

This type of scenario does nothing to advance a greater acceptance of using Ultraviolet over iTunes by the general public.

Personally, I am a firm supporter of UV. However, the studio members of Ultraviolet need to dot their "i's" and cross their "t's" if UV is going to become the top platform for streaming movies and TV shows.

Loose ends like BBC's Africa not being UV-enabled on Vudu just puts a road block in front of the technology.

              SIDE NOTE:
              -------------

BBC has FINALLY remastered Blue Planet for blu-ray and it releases next week (April 9, 2013). I own it on DVD, but the PQ is really poor. I want to upgrade Blue Planet to blu-ray. I wonder if it will come with a UV copy like Africa does? I'll have to check it out in store next Tuesday.

So, is there any update on this title being UV-enabled on Vudu? Kinda disappointing that it is on Flixster, but not on Vudu.

Two years later and still doesn't import. I just redeemed the collection I picked up on sale from Best Buy.

They have the same issue with BBC's Copper Season One, it is UV on both flixster and Vudu. However flixster UV redemption does not import into Vudu.

Do you still have the code sheet? If you open a ticket with Vudu and send them a photo of the code sheet, they may be able to give us answer, and if we're lucky, maybe even resolve it with the studio.

I've spoken with a few other customers about this, but we don't have the option to enable Africa for UV at this point. If that changes in the future, i'll let everyone know.

I would have to check your VUDU account to see whats up with this.

Copper season 1 was recently added as UV on Vudu. With that, if you contact Flixster and have them "reload" the season to your flixster account, it should roll over to Vudu. I had to do that with Falling Skies (all seasons) and Copper Season 1. Now we need Copper Season 2 UV enabled on Vudu so I can get it imported...

I asked Flixster to reload and they did but, still didn't show up in Vudu. Only have episode 1 which was a free episode I got on Vudu before this title went UV on Vudu.
