I thought I had a lot until I saw some of your numbers. I'm at 504.

I've converted every last DVD I own that is eligible, but not all my Blu-Rays. Blu-Rays aren't as much of a priority because I already own them in HD. With DVDs it give me the opportunity to upgrade to a higher quality picture.

My Blue Heaven is the best because it isn't even in Widescreen on DVD. I was able to convert my Pan and Scan SD DVD into a nice Widescreen HDX picture. Thank you, Disc-to-Digital !

I cannot figure out how to do a screen shot, but how about this, click it and it will show you my current collection, I do NOT know if the link will auto update, but it does show my Digital Collection on Vudu.

I'm at 324, so not even close to the biggest. Without MGM and/or Disney titles becoming eligible for Disc to Digital, I see my collection stopping at around the 500 mark.

Re: Who's got the biggest VUDU (D2D, UV) library here?

I have no idea how many SD vs. HDX Don't know if there's any easy way to find that kind of metric...

I've got about 65 pages worth of UV on the new UVVU.com (though some are duplicates SD purch, then HDX purchase). Nearing the 1000 mark, I think. Maybe 970? I think I still have a ton of stuff sitting in my Wal-Mart in-store D2D cart that I need to go in and curate / purchase at some point.

I don't know whether when you buy something in VUDU2Go it takes the equivalent item out of your Wal-Mart in-store cart (I know they separate the two a bit when VUDU2Go came out of Beta; which kind of screwed me up a bit, in a sense, since I couldn't see my Wal-Mart cart items in VUDU2Go anymore), or whether it leave the duplicate item in there to be re-purchased. I hope the system is smart enough to remove duplicates from the Wal-Mart in-store cart if you manage to purchase the same or better version via VUDU2Go, so you're not getting double-dipped for extraneous copies... If not, I may have to see if Wal-Mart can print out a list of what's in my cart (it's extensive) without deleting it, and then individually pick off titles I no longer need to purchase sine they'd be duplicates w/o deleting the entire Wal-Mart cart (I'd cry, just a bit, 'cause I've already gotten rid of some of the physical copies).

Anyway, lots of flicks in the library...

nganiere - If you started watching these for 12 hours a day, doing nothing else, it would take you over a year to get through them all, and that's assuming you didn't buy anything else... Oh, and you could have probably paid for Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime for the next 20 years.
Nice thought, but for the fact that NetFlix regularly rotates movies/shows in and out, so there's no guarantee that what you can watch today, you'll be able to watch a year from now there... With a purchase, assuming the entire UV system doesn't crash and burn, there's a guarantee that you should still be able to watch all your flicks whenever you want to w/o worry of things "not being available anymore."

But, yes, NetFlix is a nice supplement, I've found, to VUDU/UV. Since not all titles are yet UV and we don't have unlimited budgets, paying a couple bucks a month for what cable was SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN (unlimited, commercial-free access to a great many channels and/or programs on-demand) is a good deal. As with so many others, I've taken to binge-watching various favorite shows (new and old). Stuff I don't own, and even a few things I do, 'just 'cause NetFlix's interface makes it easier to flip through, rather than having to insert discs, see if the right episode is on it, etc. It's a cool service.

Hey, no fair. Where did you get the deluxe edition of the dark knight returns? That ain't on Vudu. I have part #1 & Part #2 from straight up EST Vudu purchases. I am guessing the deluxe is the two combined?

The deluxe edition is parts 1 and 2 combined and comes with the Bluray. It is also available on another UV provider.

My prob is even if I won the LOTTO and purchased everything in my wishlist, I would only be at about 600-650.

I have a pretty comprehensive collection of the titles I wish to have added to my library in my wish list. I comb over multiple sources to find titles I want to add.

I just do not see breaching 1k for a very, very, long time. I do not want four version of Friday The 13th. I do not want a collection of Elvis movies. No thx to the entire Lassie anthology.

Just adding titles to nock my belt is not my M.O.. I am deliberate in what titles I add and for one to make it into the wish list, I need to have a valid desire for it to be there, or for a member of my immediate family.
