Re: Who's got the biggest VUDU (D2D, UV) library here?

I'm at 1135, but the rate of growing has drastically slowed down. I like others thought that when home d2d was released tht we would be able to add alot of MGM titles, but we are still waiting. I still love my Vudu, but would liketo get what we were told.

I avoid clicking on links whenever I can. My "IMG" from photobucket was pretty easy to post.

I currently have 147. I add 5 or so movies every couple of weeks through the D2D program on top of whatever UV/Vudu codes I get my hands on.

I'm currently at 542, I try to add some via D2D every couple of weeks on top of the new ones that I buy. I have probably 400-500 more that I will eventually add via D2D, even more when MGM adds some.

I would have to say that would be Vudu.

Mine says 635 right now. I still have a bunch left to add through D2D, but I'm trying to pace myself since the costs can add up quickly.

If you're looking at the count at the top of your list then remember that it's not accurate if you have bundles since it only counts a bundle as 1.

...the count at the top of the page in Flixster does not have that bundle issue. It is a comprehensive number, but only for the UV titles.

I seem to be doing something wrong; I can't get a screenshot to upload, sorry. No idea what I'm doing wrong.

I'll stick it on my web site here: http://www.wildsidepress.com/screenshot001.jpg for anyone interested.

3922 movies. No idea how many TV shows, since Vudu is now grouping them by series. Probably another 600 or 700. (I am an easy mark when it comes to big sales on whole seasons.)

if my calculations are correct, this is about 1yr of non-stop movie watching (no sleep allowed).

                          (4,000 x 2) / 24

Re: Who's got the biggest VUDU (D2D, UV) library here?

A lot of the older movies are a tad over an hour. I'm looking at it as a way to keep my movies with me when we move to Florida and retire.

I still have more than 5,000 discs. I have closets and bookcases filled with them. I've been donating most of my converted titles to the Wagging Tails Thrift Shop (on Gude Drive in Rockville, MD), since we are in the process of downsizing. (Wagging Tails benefits the Montgomery County Humane Society. They must have 500+ DVDs and Blu-Rays still for sale. Stop by in you're in the area; it's for a good cause.)

I ran a movie web site (mysterymovies.com) for years, but gave it up to focus on book publishing (Wildside Press). If you think I have a lot of movies, you should see my book collection.

If anyone is interested in discussing old movies -- with an interest in series mysteries, like Boston Blackie, The Lone Wolf, Charlie Chan, etc. -- my old message board is still up at http://www.wildsidepress.com/forum/default.asp ... It's hobbyist board, not a commercial site, so no selling of anything is allowed.

wildside, if you place that URL inside the [img] and [/img] tags, it will embed, like so:

As far as your accomplishment goes -- I'd be surprised if anyone has a larger VUDU library than you at this point -- I have no words, and will let Wayne and Garth speak for me:
