The Fandango at Home Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Fandango at Home experience. Here, Fandango at Home customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Fandango at Home and Fandango at Home -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc).     Everyone of them says the same.
    I'm having the same problem. I got an email late last night telling me about this new service from Vudu. Then I decided to give it a go today and I can't get a single disc to be recognized. It spouts the same error message as quoted. Would be nice if it worked at all, tried about 10-discs and couldn't get one to work.

      The new software would report that error for all DVDs if your DVD drive is region free. If you don't have any ISO mounted drive and your DVDs are legitimate then please check your drive or using some external drive.

      User can go to Hardware Properties of the DVD drive to set region to region 1 (US). I think windows allows up to 5X region change.

      Note: I don't know how to reset to region Free once selected a region. Do it at your own risk.

          Will we still receive the discount if we dont upgrade the software? I havent upgraded mine yet and per all the unhappiness on here it doenst seem like its in my best interest to lose the ability to read dvds.

            If you intend to use Disc to Digital the program forces you to upgrade.

              Do you have any ISO mounting software? If so please make sure you don't have any mount at the time you run VUDU To Go.
              Can you run DOS command "diskpart" and follow by "list volume", then PM me the output?

                  The most interesting thing is that most of the discs that gave me "There was a problem while verifying this disc. Please try again later or contact Customer Care." were two-sided DVDs. Some were widescreen/P&S, and some had movie/special features, but of those that gave me that error message, I'd say at least 3/4 were double sided DVDs.

                    I have had that happen to me...problem verifying disc and I would turn it over and the other side would work.

                    The double feature movies still don't work though. Probably never will. I have several in VUDU ToGo and a few to take to Walmart, a double feature DVD, a DVD that wouldn't verify in VUDU ToGo, and two Blu-Rays.

                        I've come across this all...the so called flip discs. I've had 1 out of about 50 actually identify 1 movie on 1 side, the other side gave the old problem verifying disc message (Airport/Airport 1975). I've given up on the flip discs and if I come across one, I just add it to my Wal-Mart queue...very annoying. Other then that, I've only come across 1 or 2 other discs that don't recognize, so I guess I'm pretty lucky. Now if they would just fix the miss identified discs.

                            Any progress with the developers on getting the "old VUDU2Go cart conversion" happening, so we don't lose our major collections and have to start over. Especially given some of us may have already disposed of certain discs we were in the process of converting (mostly discs with no special features to speak of that were just taking up space).

                            Any timeline on when we might see our carts restored (preferable to simply deleting them and making us start over). Clearly since our existing carts are interfering with recognition of the same discs again they're stored somewhere in the system & it's maybe just a front-end issue getting them to show up? Granted I've converted a few discs that WEREN'T already in my cart since then. Hopefully that doesn't complicate the process of restoring the old cart's contents?

                                The issue of previous items disappeared should be fixed now. You should be able to see your cart with previous items added back.

                                However, the movies added from the store will not show up in In-Home V2G cart.
