OZ - Disney's First VUDU code. What's next?

What will be Disney's next 'Digital Copy Plus' movie on VUDU? Will it be Iron Man 3 on Aug 27 2013?

I noticed that Oz is another first on VUDU- namely the first Bundled 2D w/ Special features + 3D title. $35 (?) I think, gets you the lot.
Kind of tempting given that I've been wanting them to implement bundles like those for a while, but I'm not sure for this particular movie.

As for the next digitalcopy+ title, Robin Hood says it will have a DC as does:
The Sword in the Stone (both in August)
      Return to Neverland
      Muppet Movie
and then a couple months later Little Mermaid and IM3?

I'm not one to keep up with all these studio decisions. Does anyone know if Disney plans to re-release the Marvel Studios films with their new Digital Copy + codes? I actually don't own any of them, so I'm hoping so since it doesn't seem they will be moving to UV anytime soon.

        Thanks.

          Thanks.

My pleasure. Funny you should ask. I submitted a query to the support department of Disney DVD who distributes re-releases.

I was asking just that question. There are several lined up that say "Digital Copy" and I asked them if these will be DigitalCopy+.

          LINK:
          http://disneydvd.disney.go.com/coming-soon.html

They responded asking me to call them and I haven't had time yet.

I suspect they will be DigitalCopy+, but it will be nice to know for sure.

Re: OZ - Disney's First VUDU code. What's next?

For those with Disney Movie Rewards (DMR). Today Disney added a "Digital Copy" column with this icon linking to VUDU or wherever you redeemed your code.

I have dozens of movies but only my Oz The Great And Powerful has "Get Movie" icon. Another bluray.com member reports:

"I have the "Get Movie" icon next to Oz, Chicken Little 3D and Bolt 3D."

Nice find ... maybe a sign of things to come. I'm also seeing that button for the following titles:

Beauty And The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas Special Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack
Beauty And The Beast Diamond Edition Blu-ray
                Cars Blu-ray
                Cars DVD

When I click on the link it takes me to the DigitalCopyPlus site which gives the following error:

Sorry, this is not a valid code

Looks like they removed the button for everything but Oz.

Hmmmm.....maybe this means they are going to open their previously released movies to UV?? (We can dream, can't we?)

Some reviews posted that they received the extras online as part of redeeming their DC but so far the only reference I have seen to these are from iTunes redeemers.

Does anyone have extras on their VUDU copy??

I noticed the upcoming releases have been added to the DigitalCopyPlus.com website:

                        Do Digital Copy codes expire?

Digital Copy codes are only valid for Digital Copy redemption on this site for a limited time. See the list below for specific dates related to your title. Please, contact customer service with any further questions regarding Digital Copy code expiration.

Digital Copy Plus currently supports the following titles:

Oz The Great and Powerful -- Expires June 11, 2015
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh -- Expires July 29, 2015
