    Some movies lost UV compatibility....

Well I just noticed that 3 of my movies lost the UV symbol and are no longer in my UVVU.com locker. If this is how the whole vudu/uv ecosystem is gonna work then I might as well quit now. I paid for the 3 movies through the D2D service and now they are all gone from my UVVU.com account. They all still show on vudu but if vudu were to shut down I no longer have the UV rights to them which is what I thought the main advantage to the whole UV system was. Once I have the license on uvvu.com it is mine no matter what happens. Apprently not. Here are the titles.

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
There's Something About Mary Extended Edition

I checked on UVVU.com, and I was able to find my copy of Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol I'm not a Fan of the Harold and Kumar movies so I don't have them to check.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol still has the UV logo ... is this the same one you redeemed?

I have Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, acquired through Walmart/Vudu D2D. It does seem to no longer appear in my UVVU locker.

However, it still has the UV logo on Vudu. And I just logged in to Flixster's Windows 8 app. Movie is there, and it plays.

        Hopefully, this is nothing.

Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol is still in my UV locker.
However I redeemed through paramount's website.

I don't think this can happen. People are making purchasing decisions based on whether or not a title is UltraViolet. People are purchasing additional digital rights via D2D also. I don't think a UV title would ever be reversed.

There is some precedent for this, unfortunately. I am not saying this is what is going on (since it's probably a simple error and nothing more), but if you remember all of the Averngers Marvel movies like Iron Man, Thor, ect. were all D2D when things first started. Then they went away for a while, and were also removed from UV lockers. After many complaints, and a lot of time passing, I believe they were put back into people's UV lockers since they were "grandfathered in". Again this is probably just a simple syntax error of some kind, but it's not like this sort of thing is unprecedented.

Just for fun, I did a little searching. I've not purchased any of the Harold & Kumar movies either.

I don't see "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" on VUDU with UV. The only copy I see is the Extreme Unrated edition, and it's not UV. http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...Castle-Unrated

Note this is not unusual if the windows has closed, since I've not purchased it.

I checked on WB and CinemaNow, and they don'y have it as UV. I couldn't find the UV version on Amazon (No I didn't try too hard).

I did see the UV logo on M-Go.

The "Harold & Kumar Triple Feature" does show on Vudu as UV when I tried the redemption search page.

Did you open a case with support@vudu.com or the support at Vudu.com?

Right now we are speculating, but they would be able to answer for you what occurred.

They are in your uvvu.com account? They are all in my vudu account but that's not my issue.

I've also lost There's Something About Mary - Extended Edition from my UV locker.

Do we get a refund if UV is not restored? As far as I know 100% of my movies are UV, and I don't intend on buying/converting those that aren't.
