    Stargate SG1 & Atlantis

Why do I only see season 1 & 2 of Stargate SG1 and Atlantis? Why would I consider purchasing SG1 and Atlantis if I don't know that the other seasons are going to become available? This just seems stupid to me to only offer 2 seasons out of a 10 and 5 season series!

Am I missing something or is what I'm seeing accurate? Is VUDU going to have the other seasons at some point? I can purchase all seasons on iTunes right now but that doesn't give me access online. I'd like to see them on UV as well but that is probably more than one can hope for.

Do VUDU employees monitor this forum, can someone there answer my questions? VUDU?

As with all content that we have, pricing and availability is dictated by the studios. It's all up to them really.

I believe you are indicating Vudu has every title available by the studios. I know Vudu had a lot of titles, but somehow that doesn't seem right to me.

Surly there are titles studios have made available but Vudu has decided to not offer.

      For instance, True Lies.

That is NOT what I meant. Please don't confuse the others who may read this thread. I was referring to the content that we offer. Once again, it's all controlled by the studios. Not sure how else I can say this.

Stargate SG-1: Season 3 is now available: http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...-SG-1-Season-3

We will slowly be releasing the rest of the seasons for Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis in the coming months.

That's great news. Though will VUDU be adding Stargate Universe as well?

                    Re: Stargate SG1 & Atlantis

If I may make a request regarding SG1 Season 8{however unlikely it is}, I would like to see the original 63 minute version of the episode "Threads".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threads...-1)#Production

The episode originally aired as a 63-minute piece, but an edited 45-minute version exists for syndication.
On a related note, it would be nice if we had the ability to purchace Stargate: The Ark of Truth and not just rent it.

                      Re: Stargate SG1 & Atlantis

So I have all the Stargate movies and TV series box sets...If I wanted to get them onto my VUDU account, would I have to take each individual disc to the store and pay for each disc's episodes to be added to my account, or is there another, easier, cheaper, and more logical way to do this? Seems like to much of a PITA to take 90 something discs to Walmart and pay around $500 to have these converted (up to HDX from standard)...

                        Re: Stargate SG1 & Atlantis

The only one that appears eligible for disc-to-digital is the very first movie.

But otherwise, you can do in-home disc-to-digital for 50% off until June 30th if you convert 10 or more discs at once.

                          Re: Stargate SG1 & Atlantis

Since the tv series and its movies are distributed by MGM, they aren't elgible for D2D.
